I can almost always walk away from the BJ table with a couple hundred to waste. I’ve had my best luck playing craps like it’s just play money pressing at least twice before collecting anything within reason. I’m aggressive in that I always play the points and pressing inward toward the six and eight. I look for $25 tables and start with one unit across the top. Good luck. I’m not afraid to turn bets off either once I’m dealing with black bets. Not gonna beat the laws of probability but it is fun for me with no risk.

Can someone explain why not taking these to $30 from the start is not a better play? Start just pocketing some wins from the start? Sure higher risk of loss on a quick 7 out, but these strategies require strong shooters and if you went right to $30 to make those target profits vs essentially eating what should be pocket profits to eat win rolls for "scaling" the bet. Not sure I see the benefit vs just going hard from the start

I love it, the light bulb lit up. This is the best advice you can show your viewers. Once you are off the table and on profit, press. A nice way to ease into pressing is, " press one unit". It builds a lot faster than you would think, and you are always putting a little something in the rack. I would work that first before going on full tilt with the power press. As you learn, then start mixing in mid-press and power press. Great job, great video!

Knowing when to regress is the hard part for me. Say you get a long roll. You power press on the first hit, then collect. Then you start pressing because that's how you collect barneys. That seven is going to happen, and it bugs me to have $200+ out there when my bankroll is not positive. I've been experimenting with Crappy's $30 6 and 8 (collect the green, but keep going), but if you keep hitting the 6 and 8 those other numbers start adding up to a lot at risk. What I've been doing is pressing those outer numbers up until what is at risk amounts to about 1/3 of my bankroll, then pull it all down and start over with $30 6 and 8. Also, it's hard to hang with it when you roll and roll, but never hit the 6 or 8.

Try to not worry about what's in your bankroll. Treat every roll as if it's separate from each other. Collect your initial investment + profit however you see fit, then disconnect from the money on the table. If the 7 comes, then you don't need to be bothered because you've already profited; the money that was lost was "house money"

I went to Ameristar in Blackhawk, CO a few nights ago (on a Tuesday which is super DEAD, but I want to go when it's not busy like the weekends to play CRAPS without being judged. SO I walked in two $200 bank roll. I walked out with $900. HAHA!! I can't believe it. Even the dealers were surprised because I told them it's my 1st time being shooter and not familiarized with the game. The dealers at Ameristar in Blackhawk were SUPER HELPFUL. We had a hot shooter opposite side of me so I kept on winning, but I don't know how to "press". Two weeks ago, I was experimenting with $30 each on the 6 and 8. If either number rolled, I would toss in $1 and tell the dealer to go to $48 each. Then half press one number as they kept rolling. Then I tried $30 each on the 6 and 8. Whichever number rolled, I would toss in $1 and bring that number to $36 and collect $30. If the number rolled again, I would go up to $42 and collect $36. If the number rolled again, I would go up to $60 and collect $31. If the number rolled again, I would go up to $90 and collect $40. If the roll continued, I got more aggressive and would go to $180 and then to $360. On the longest roll, I got a number up to $600.

These kinds of decisions are usually based on bank roll .if you are playing light with a couple of hundred you probably should be a bit conservative. If you are trying to break the casino with some winning money obviously you need to power press

Of course, any "in the light" strategy works well, with a long roll. I recently experienced a unicorn roller. He went for like 2 hours. I think I made the most money out of all the players, as I didn't see anyone else with purple in play. This guy hit all 6 points for the Fire Bet bonus(which no one was playing, of course, lol) and hit ATS twice. I tend to start with 100% press after first hit, then go to 50% presses from then on, or whatever bets are easiest to do the math on, for the dealers' sake.

I used to be the scared same bet or up one unit player. Nothing wrong with any of those if that's how you play. Then i started watching casino quest vids and David talks about disconnecting from the $$ one you're in profit mode and playing with house money. That made a lot of sense to me. Now once I make my initial investment back from that roll I'm in power press/collect mode almost on full tilt!! The highest I've gotten on any number is $420 on the 6. Collected on that once and was excited/scared to go $900 next, but couldn't get there. Power press/collect is tough cause you need a really decent roll to collect big money, but it gets you to the big money chips quicker

Not actually true. It has many considerations. Also the main goal is to loose less in the end. No matter how you play or HOW MUCH YOU PLAY, limited exposure is key to long term play!!! Bankroll management will prove to be key in the end.

What is not actually true? My opinion? If goal is to lose less in end, that would be not to play. There is no long term key to winning, as that is impossible to overcome the house edge. So I’ve decided to have my window be bigger and take better advantage of longer rolls.

My play style on this game is "Get In, Get Out, Go Up." On a $5 table, I'll do $44 inside, first hit drop $8 and press the inside to $66 inside. On the 2nd hit I will either regress to $32 across leaving me a net profit of $3 and transition to Triple Lux, or I will drop an extra $1 and inside press again to $88 inside and hope for a 3rd hit to then regress to $32 across with a $31 profit and transition into Triple Lux. Obviously cold tables kill any strategy, but this is what makes the most sense to me

6/8 for me is marginal (you win a bit extra with the PP), 5/9 is middle you could go either/or for a slight investment risk, 4/10 is where you can really make money with extra risk although less chance of hitting it more than once. Now it's a game of random chance and monster rolls will make anyone happy. But then I'm not a Craps gambler, out of all the table games it is the one I enjoy the most. Going to try reversing the strategy to press then collect and see if my average colour up increases.

It's interesting how there are those $165+ initial layouts to hope for two quick hits, then pull down and play for no investment. It's not correct to say you're playing without any investment if that $165 was at risk for two rolls. If you're willing to risk $165, then why not only risk $64 across and power press for that second hit? You're still in it for less that the more expensive layout. I know, I know.... it takes more rolls to capture the initial investment that to risk only two rolls to start playing for "free." Excellent visual demo! I love your videos, I’ve learned a lot in the time I’ve been watching them, so thank you for that. One point on this video, though. The way I see it, the player that did not press made out better than the other two on a percentage basis. I know that the power presser did better money wise after 2 hits, but they were also more exposed to a loss if Big Red came before the second hit. I also understand that this video is comparing the three strategies that hit twice. Just a thought coming from a more conservative thinker.

IMO you are correct, you have to do some form of pressing. But I hate the inevitable big red with a lot of money on the table. So I have begun to use the inside numbers to press the 4 and 10 and only collect those two numbers. I win less often but I get more bang when I do.

I wish you would have included the half press. It would have shown the Goldilocks zone having the best of both worlds. This takes the risk out. $12 pays $14 When you half press, the next bet looks like $18. The player has $8 profit (greater than the same bet player). The risk is 0 because the bet has only increased $6 to look like $18 (far better than the full and power press players). If/when the 2nd hit shows $18 pays $21. This has a total profit of $29, but you showed the $12 coming out of that so that profit now shows $17. What is really the best? $19 power press profit with risk vs $18 full press profit with risk vs $17 half press profit with NO risk vs $16 same bet profit with no risk. Now that’s something to think about.

SLANDER! Funny story, my "craps name, Same Bet" actually came before I knew what it meant. I wanted to take some of the strategies you were showing, and I'd play it out on my table. That's a great message. I did an analysis one time of 1 guy doing a 2 hit regression and another guy just starting out with a half press. It's amazing how when you simulate a 20 roll shooter just how far behind the guy that regressed ends up.

I’m hearing the evidence but coming to the opposite conclusion. How often in normal play are you hitting a number 2-3 times before the 7? In my opinion not often enough to rely on it. So if a same better regresses after the 2nd hit they will have a nice profit, while being the safest. (Slightly less end total but maximum point-7-out safety.). While the power presser needs two hits or else they bust if they can’t get that double tap. Monster rolls are so rare that I don’t consider them as part of my strategy. I “could” have made 1-2k on them if I was more aggressive, but I also didn’t lose hundreds of dollars over multiple normal play sessions getting needlessly aggressive. Edit: And how many numbers are we placing here? If we’re just placing the 8 hoping it hits 3 times that’s wild. Usually you place the 5-9 or 4-10. But at $15 Vegas we’re looking at 66 or 98 across. And to power press on top of that… normal players don’t have that kind of bank roll.

Glad you have come to a conclusion. If you are going to get one hit and take down. That is the ideal play. Rarely is that done. So if you stick around and get that second hit, pressing works out better than same bet. Avg roll is 8.5, so adapt how you like to play for that, whether it’s the short 3-8 roll hand or the 10-25 roll hand. When I go to Vegas is only time I can get $5 and $10 tables, so pressing is ideal there.

I’m only a minute in and you’re are so right about being wrong. In some of your recent videos, you say you’ll be aggressive, then you won’t press hard. You start spreading out your bets, or collecting first then pressing a little. Just power press and collect. I use a strategy of this that is blended with crappys collect the green. $12 6/8. Only in for $24 if PSO. Ist his pp to $30. Next his I collect the green and put $10 on 5 or 9. If 5 or 9 hit, drop $1 and go to a quarter. Had decent luck, but the dice are gonna do what the dice are gonna do. Virtually out of the hand on second hit.

I am all for power pressing but honestly my favorite strat (assuming 15 dollar today). Was the 66 inside, any pay out is 21, You throw in a dollar everything goes up one unit, and the second hit you would collect 6$ and send everything up a unit, Hit 3 and 4 are full collect and your out of the hand. It hits all my boxes of getting pressed up and having a wide range on the board for the log rolls. I feel with it though i always get torched on the short rolls but thats craps. The strat is from CQ but it hits the medium rick your trying to hit in this video.

Really just depends if your strategy is based on a long roll. I can see some players wanting to make sure they are assuring profit on the shooter after they've recouped, so pressing is money left on the table... I guess so is not pulling down your bets in general. Is pressing and hoping for a monster roll worth it? Does the player that pulls down their bets actually see more profit in the long run?

Correct. I’m still a big proponent of recouping initial outlay first. Like I said in video, unless you pull down after one hit( which is ideal for most rolls with the avg being 8.5) the initial press works out much better than collecting first. In the long run, either way will lose to house edge, so play with what is comfortable to you personally

You’d already be pressed up on the 6 and 8. Then you can immediately collect or spread out with bigger bets faster (assuming they hit, of course). You’d also not have to invest anymore when power pressing and could actually profit even while spreading out. Hell, you could just put $96 on just the 6 or 8 and only need 1 hit to have $192 across. If you are intending to press your numbers before collecting and gambling on a long roll, why wouldn’t this be the strategy? You’d assume the 6 or 8 would hit sooner than later and all numbers would immediately be pressed up.

Your theory is BS. The results from a previous roll do not influence what will happen in the next roll. Therefore, it does not matter whether you become conservative after recouping. Each bet is independent, and the more you bet, the more money you will lose.

We all know there's a house edge to every bet on the table (except for odds)...so by definition the more you risk the more you're going to lose. I understand most people don't play craps just to hit one number and leave...but advising them to risk more for a chance to win more is exactly what the house wants and is just a recipe for bigger losses

If you're concerned about the house edge, then you don't need to be gambling. The lowest house edge bet on a craps table is a pass line with max odds. But that low house edge doesn't mean squat on a PSO. How many times has Jeremey demonstrated strategies where he rolls 10 numbers before a point is even hit? How many 7 outs has he famously rolled before hitting the point? The dice don't care about the math. When I walk into a casino, I fully intend on losing all the money I walk in with; to me, that's 100% house edge.

Good demo but how are you going to play it under real world conditions with real money? Are you going to park your chips on one number and wait for it to repeat a couple of times? If you do you could be twiddling your thumbs for a long time while other numbers get thrown. If you bet several numbers you are risking more money and need more hits to break even. I would say you have to at least double your normal buy in if you want to spread your money around and collect some hits. Of course if the 7 hits early you're out all the more. I've seen hot shot players walk up and buy in for say $2,000 and bet across for $100+, lose a few times, haul out the wallet and rebuy for $1500, then have to dip into the wallet again for $1000. One guy recently had to leave the table after his wallet went empty to visit the ATM to replenish his gambling stash. It's all fine to say your going to be an aggressive player as long as you have the budget to back it up.

This was EXTREMELY WELL DONE!!!!! Admitting you were wrong shows you have GREAT character!!! I have been wrong about a LOT of things myself and made a LOT of mistakes and admitted it and made changes based on my experience in the REAL world! I am glad to see that YOU feel you need to be MORE aggressive and that's GREAT! However, my experience in the REAL world has been HORRIBLE and that's why I have the MUCH more CONSERVATIVE approach of collecting FIRST and THEN pressing on the 2nd hit, but here is how I would do it now: When OTHER people are shooting who are RANDOM shooters, I would press ONLY by ONE unit on the 2nd hit, and then do this again on the 4th hit IF it lasts THAT long and it usually NEVER does! IF it were to hit a 6th time - VERY DOUBTFUL - then I would press it by HALF the amount I have up on that particular number! If I am the shooter OR IF I spot a shooter who uses dice-control with a controlled-motion type of toss, THEN on the 2nd hit, I will do a FULL press for EVERY 2nd hit, and of course I would STILL use the collect FIRST then press!!! I say this because I have MUCH MORE faith in MYSELF and THIS type of shooter because at least we are REALLY TRYING to make our point and hopefully go on extended rolls, even if we don't make our point so we can collect decent winnings on our place bets! A LOT of people who play craps NEVER take the time to LEARN and try something DIFFERENT if they have been failing, to help THEMSELVES by trying something like dice-control with a controlled toss, as I REALLY BELIEVE this would help us have a BETTER chance at winning MORE often and people would have LONGER rolls, if everyone used this technique!
