Good video! But to clarify on the alcohol thing: You can not buy alcohol over 3,5% in the store on Sundays or after 15.00 Saturdays. But you can still buy it at bars and restaurants, which wasn't entirely clear in the video.

And to clarify further, each one of Swedens 290 something counties decide whether public drinking is permitted or not. In Stockholm you are totally free to walk almost anywhere to drink whatever percentage you like. In some other places the police will drain your bottle in the street and fine you, but not in the capital.
You can buy 3.5% beer anytime you want, we don't have that type of restriction.
@swerastamann3 жыл бұрын
@@fredosinsemilla3896 thats true, its up to local authorities to decide weather and where you are allowed to drink or not and how much and what kind and in the streets of gothenburg the rule (which is rarely upheld) is 3.5, although notably in the largest public park you are free to drink as much as you want

I just think the headline was funny considering that Sweden is over 146000 km² and has 10.2 million inhabitants. Then comes the question, do you learn anything about Sweden by staying in Gothenburg? Maybe the Volvo cars are manufactured in Gothenburg. Hope I was not ironic. In that case, I apologize. Kind regards from the Swedish countryside! Ps. You are a very beautiful woman. DS.

It's more, I was able to learn all of this in 5 days with an open mind and just chatting with the locals.
