Regarding food, a good thing to note is that we also eat a lot of foreign food. Mostly dishes with rice, but also food influenced by our former colonies. But in terms of traditional foods the video is correct.

By watching the video I assume that she spent time with mostly university students. Classrooms over there can have people from all over Europe or even the world. While at a college you see that less often. So I think that's how she met up with people that happen to be more multilingual then the Average Dutchman.

Other languages like Russian or Manderin are considerate rare and most Dutch (including me) will be impressed if you're born in the Netherlands and speak these languages fluently.
