I love that you started with Foresight Slash on LS. This thing might sound intimidating if you're from Dark souls and expect it to have about as tight of a window to do it right as a parry, but it has the most I-frames out of any move in the game. Don't remember all the numbers, but it's literally an entire SECOND of invincibility with Evasion mantle!

Quick note on the CB. To enter savage axe mode you dont need a buffed shield, but it does seem to help in damage from what ive seen. Nonetheless this is still really good for beginners and veterans alike. Thanks dude

I recently started playing iceborne (late to the party i know, i'll probably pause for wilds) and decided to try charge blade. While playing rise i had managed to get the hang of the controls a little so i figured why not try it in a real hunt and i gotta say the weapon clicked pretty fast. It's rep as a super hard weapon is more intimidating than actually using it. It's pretty fun. Might become my third weapon

The monster is hurling every bone in its body at you, you guessed it, tackle Earplugs? Who needs that? Our shoulder is all we need

From the first mh on ps2 i always a gs main, and gs in iceborne is just straight up FIRE, i mean the tcs is super nice but the tackle is just deserve the chef kiss. Super armor and reduce the damage significantly is just broken AF amd you can chain it to the wide slash with good damage as well. Gs is just the hardest bonk

Are you planning on ever doing the same thing with Rise? It was a while ago, but I learned basics of all weapons there to get every S rank in arena, so I could give a couple of hints for it specifically too

I still have yet to do any of the DLC monsters in Rise. The best I could do was maybe take them down before Wilds releases, where most of the focus will then be on that game. Would love to have more time to spend on Rise

Totally on monsters. Just choose what you are familiar with the most. For me, with World specifically, I would do Rathian first, then Nergigante, then Alatreon. If I'm having a hard time, I'd go for Anja, before Nerg and maybe Velkhana before Alatreon

For GL even if you're using normal shelling often a basic poke or shell can be a better option, so don't get to caught up in optimal combos

Suffering in Deco Farm hell but atleast Hammer with slugger 5 makes Teostra not as terrible and i was GS main for the entire story/DLC. Now challenging myself in trying out all the weapons i avoided.

i think by far bow is the most nitpick weapon, the good zones for damage for each monster is just obnoxious.melee is the best :D
