I like most of the designs and the ones that didn’t ring my chimes have some interesting attention to detail. I detest sinks that are positioned so that one is looking at a wall or cabinet. It was a real deal breaker on some of the homes we looked at when we moved.

Happy Valentines Day from a fellow Canadian. I'm so glad I found your channel since I am trying to get kitchen design ideas for a new build in a year or so.🤞

by far, my fave is the first kitchen. Clean, elegant and functional.

58:26 is awesome. Maybe too spread out with the work triangle, but a really good vibe, warm and bright.

I’m with you on white kitchens and symmetry

The hanging lights & the range hood were perfectly matched in the black & timber kitchen (the one before the white kitchen)

The one you call the Basic kitchen is the one I like best so far! 😂

Yeah, I kind of really like that one too.

We have large frosted glass doors in the feature Center section of the cabinet doors . It lights up inside as well adding a soft glow and mystery behind those doors complimenting the under cabinet lighting as well .

That sounds cool. I love the look of frosted glass!

Absolutely the case that its easy to critique after the hard work was done. All designers get lost in the details so we designers should take the time to ask others to help us get to that next level solution.

On the blue and white laminate kitchen just rotate the sink and d/w to the wall on the right and move the cooktop to the center front. Windows are neato!

1:00.00 The left and right cabinets are an issue. Flip ups on the first level and symmetrical double doors above them without the small top row doors? Eh? Am I right? That solves the door swing dilemma which is the reason they did that weird solution. Hope I'm getting closer anyway.😎 I dig this episode.

I like the glass cabinets down to the counter. There was lots of room to move the sink so it wouldn’t be so close to the corner. Does anyone make pull down units that attach to the cabinet door? Otherwise I don’t know how anyone would close the top cabinets if those are flip up hinges. I’d still prefer this kitchen in white more.

In the kitchen with the toe kick lighting it looks like the under cabinet lights were placed too far back. It looks like they are lighting the back wall more than the countertop.

Maybe those “trees” next to range are herbs. I’ve seen rosemary trimmed that way.

Mark how do you feel about a bar height 41 inch kitchen island? The standard 36 is just too short for me.
@MTKDofficial8 ай бұрын
I don't have a problem with it, especially for an island.

Why would you put green next to a cook top? Because it looks good in a photo shoot!

Is that a French door fridge by the window (38:15)? Nvm. I realized how tall the doors are
@gregpendrey67113 ай бұрын
I love, times two, how the counter on the right runs straight into the corner in the kitchen here at 38:00.

I'm zeroed in on the window to the right of the fridge. That Roman blind window treatment is meh, it doesn't match, so a 2 inch wood venetian blind lowered and left open would be normal. The Roman blinds on the bay above the sink are the hero.

Also no hood/ventilation in the no wall cabinets/white brick backsplash kitchen without a filler.

59:55 …uhhhh, chair seat height to counter height… 🤔 whassup there
