Wow your work is really lovely and I hope the person you gifted your aghan to realized how much love & effort went into that blanket! I adore Janie's designes and have made them myself. I am finishing Persian tiles and will be making the Spirit of Flora & Frida's Flowers afghans at the same time. Can't get enough of her designs. I am also thrilled she is doing partial videos to give assistance in making her work. Wish she would have years ago but I am not complaining. It's great to see others that love her designs as much as I do. Happy Crocheting! ☺️🧶🌸💞

Loved that you shared your work. I love Janie Crow's design; I actually have all the materials for Fruit Garden but have been procrastinating about starting for months now 🤔 This would be a quantum leap for me but you have truly inspired me to "go for it". Best wishes from Ireland.

Thank you! You can do it! The Fruit Garden was my first project like this, and while it seemed overwhelming at first, it's actually really doable! Her videos are really helpful. ☺ I'm excited for you!

Can you do a tutorial on these motifs they are so hard to do even with the pattern
@auntmelissacrafts10 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, I can't because they are not my designs. Have you checked out Janie Crow's KZbin? She has a lot of tutorials on there! There's also a helpful facebook group where members help each other out!

She really does make the most amazing patterns. I made the fruit Garden . I'm now making the sussex garden. As i said; i'd love to see these 2 combined.

She is my favorite crochet designer! I feel behind on the Spirit of Flora and still need to finish the border of Bloomsbury Garden! I think combining FG and SG would be beautiful!

Hi ,I'm new to crotchet , in a moment of madness I chose to do fruit garden as my second project ,and as a newby I have to say it's doable ( I have two experienced crochet friends who are doing it with me CAL style ) yes it's complex and a little tricky in places ,but wow it's beautiful, I'd like to do some more of her work ,(I'm doing the climbing rose shawl next)

Di you think it's possible to make a combination of the fruit Garden and sussex garden patterns ? I would love to see the acanthuspattern as a border for the sussex garden .
@auntmelissacrafts11 ай бұрын
It's possible! You'd have to figure out the gauge/tension of each one and make sure you have the right stitch counts. It would be a big project lol! I was disappointed that my tension was off for the striped border of Bloomsbury Garden, so I have to remake the border strips.

Why dont you weave in the ends as you crochet.... it's more secure this way.
@auntmelissacrafts9 ай бұрын
That was my mistake with the first blanket. I weave in as I go along now. It's made a huge difference!

She literally said she should have several times in her video. Why ask her that? Weren't you listening to her?
