It is funny how this disputes a lot of things that Viper said before. I always get a feeling with him that he always ranks the units like he just feels. And would he rank it again, tomorrow, it would be slightly different.

I explicitly remind the first black forest game I played in DE. I had a dravidian pocket that would only spam ele archer and make no other unit the entire game, also no building outside his base, and will slowly get stalematey against the other flank with all those briton halbs and 80 longbows. So I needed to get 12 trebs and 80 imp skirms. It wasn't enough, the cavalry and siege from the pocket was always an issue, I think slavs. The winning move was, as viets, spam a ton of rams that would get the focus of melee units as well draw some from archers, invade production zone with imp skirm spam, and treb castles with all the surviving siege while 25 sapper vils take barracks after barracks. You always have to carry dravidians, the civ doesn't even have sappers. Dravs are probably not that bad, you have res for double range + db axe right on first 5 seconds, and can start production and fletching right on maybe even add a third if you need to commit feudal. Then when you get castle age you can probably have 3-4 ranges and use the 200 wood for a siege workshop, ofc it is a maniac gameplan but if you get the upper hand your opponent is in a world of pain.

My top Civs are Georgians, huns, byzantines and armenians, Mules and churches help a lot on the open aggressive maps, dromons have their use and all of the civs have strong cavalry play in castle age or in case of byzantines a strong counter with the cheap camels

I think it's not until castle age that the discount really pops off, both because that's when you can get multiple TCs running and also because the discount goes up by age, so by then it's over double what you save in dark age.

@@silaszur I'm pretty sure this guy is just posting intentionally disrespectful stuff on Viper's videos wherever he gets the chance. He's done this a few times already. There's clearly something pathological going on here. Hopefully he gets the help he needs.
