I'm really glad to hear what you said about RoTG! It's not my best book but I was absolutely going for, as you said, sincerity, even in the face of an objectively silly premise.

I was nervous that I hadn't explained it in a good way, lol.

In August I finished Part 1 & 2 of “To Green Angel Tower” by Tad Williams (Epic Fantasy, final «novel(s)» in the “Memory, Sorrow & Thorn” “Trilogy”, book of the month and in my top 3 so far this year!), Michael Moorcock’s “The Warlord of the Air” (Multiverse Time Travel Steampunk?😅 ), and “The Thousandfold Thought” (Epic Dark/Grimdark Fantasy, the final novel in the «Prince of Nothing» Trilogy) by R. Scott Bakker.

@@someokiedude9549 Yup, heavy but so very rewarding! That said, this Autumn I am gonna be a lot more mood reading with no «big chonkers»! 😅😄

Now's your chance to hit the untapped Oklahoma noir market. I'd read it. Alien Romulus: Britton's thirst film of 2024.

It is something I'd like to do for sure. Hehe.

Haven't seen any of the modern Alien films, but I really liked this analysis by M L Clarkkzbin.info/www/bejne/jHy9nn2sect3rNU
