I’ve gotta say, it’s one thing to say that you’re gonna be proactive in a situation like this. It’s quite another thing, to actually follow through with that sentiment when a situation like this actually happens to you.

Can you care to explain why she hate Tom Cruise? Just asking not because being a fan and all but purely on curiosity, you can make short if you want.

Man, I’m only 15 minutes in, during the recollection of the first night, and all I can think is how I’m probably less than an hour away from where this all happened!! The White Mountains, here in NH, hold a lot of mysteries 😅

The pattern of the entity in MrBallen's story, sounds like a pattern of a father coming home late, coming to his child's room, and kissing his goodnight, in the first two nights.

This is Mr. Ballens 1st video. To see this much emotion in him is kinda wild. Like, he's always expressed emotion in his videos, but like, his demeanor, and his overall presentation of this story is really disturbing because you can sense how shaken up he is over the whole thing.

Mr Ballen didnt have a so called sleep paralysis experience he made it very clear that he was unable to go to sleep and that he was awake the entire time without an inch of sleep. His experience was very similar but his body was not asleep during the encounter

Maaaaan the description of the weird figure that Chad saw reminded me of a thing that I saw when a was a kid. I used to sleep with my parents on their room, both my parents had woke up as my mom was preparing food because my dad was going to work, I was like 3am and I had to go to the bathroom witch is downstairs, so I took my lantern, stood up and turned it on, then I heard something behind and when I looked at the wall there was this huge shadow that looked stretched and moving like as it were dancing. I don’t know how to explain it but after that I just pissed myself and went back to bed, shit was weird.

Good stuff! Thanks for checking out this one! There's some fuckshit that we can't often see, but animals, young kids and people in specific circumstances are somehow more attuned to. I had a recurring nightmare and one one time probably hallucination (even though there was no factor present that should cause hallucinations) that kinda fucked me up as a kid. Hearing about your experiences was great. Hope you check out Ballen's 'This island kept a dark secret until 2004' at some point and more of his '3 stories' series, because those are 6-star reaction material! Much love!

No idea where Nikki's energy is coming from. Admirable, but honestly, who wouldn't rather hide somewhere. It is easy to say that one should just grab a weapon and defend themselves: yet, as the video mentions, humans generally prefer to pretend that all will be fine, that there is no actual danger. Once fear sets in, there is no switch of bravery you can just flick. People love to procrastinate, and much in the same way, that fight or flight response is often only triggered at the last possible moment, not in advance. Basic example, if there is an actual intruder in the house, would it truly be wise to attack them? You might be armed with something basic, might be able to ambush them - but unless you have lots of physical strength or whatever, chances are you will get overwhelmed. I am 33-years old and about as strong as a leaf in the wind, I would not be able to turn things around just like that. Ultimately, it will always sound like the logical thing to do, just leave right away and/or grab a weapon and head out there, but getting your mind to that point is one of the tallest hurdles imaginable.

I have PTSD, so my fear response is heightened. I am pretty much constantly on alert. It’s not healthy, but I’m perpetually ready to fuck someone, or in this case -something-, up if need be lol

@@gnarlynikki Thank you for the response - and fair enough, I totally get that. Honestly, I wish it was that easy for me to just bust down the door and scare undesirable individuals off my porch. As for how one may read that wrong, well, that kind of attitude doesn't hurt in a healthy relationship 😅

@@TheShadowCookie it’s annoying to always be “on”, but I don’t ever really get afraid of anything happening, because my brain has already cooked up every scenario and knows the game plan. Chad and I are both very emotionally responsive ppl, so it would be a bad day for anyone to be hanging around when they shouldn’t. In that event, maybe try playing something through a speaker to spook them away? & a dog if you don’t have one! Shorty (our pitbull) sounds very intimidating. & they alert you before you hear anything (:

@@gnarlynikki Well, that which does not end you makes you stronger ;) I myself am a massive introvert. Ironically enough, I care immensely about how people around me feel and get upset when they are unwilling to share it; however, my own emotions tend to stay locked up, and I have grown awful at expressing them. Thus, I can approach anyone just fine, but don't you dare intrude upon my mental space 😵‍💫 About the latter - no worries there :D I did not mean that there literally are people outside. I do not know about you two, but this area (of Germany) is quite safe and free of such disturbances. We do own a dog, but he is all play and no bite whatsoever - not much support there 😂

Great vid! Love how you guys are so real, and positive. I had a sleep paralysis too, and I don't think it's a dream. I think it's evil using your tiredness against you. Because I was definitely awake when it got on my chest, and I didn't want to see it, but it's breathing was terrifying. Then I prayed to Jesus over and over and it went right away.

So each morning the mother woke up, went to the kitchen and closed the entrance door that the thing left open without once wondering about the risks to their safeties that it represented? Even if she really believed it was his husband, ok, but it's leaving the main door open at night in the middle of the woods, bobcats, lynxs, pumas, bears, criminals are all invited inside. Other thing I find a bit weird is that MrBallen's friends might be the only teenagers having a hard time staying awake till late hours in the night.

I'm sorry bedtime Mom's or elementary school teachers..or Jk Rowling, Steven King, Walt Disney..... John T Ballen is the GOAT!😂

I can attest that praying to Jesus Christ works for me. There have been many times where I was uneasy, and was given comfort and courage. Also knowing the Lord of lords had my back helped me greatly with my fear of the dark.
@TripleFourSC
@TripleFourSC Жыл бұрын
Praying to God or Jesus only helps you because you've programmed it into your brain to be your safety net and beacon of hope. You can do this with pretty much anything that can put you in your comfort zone. For example, I'm agnostic with really bad anxiety but when I get a bad anxiety episode, I play video games or listen to the music I like because it sets me back to normal. It's all about what you've programmed your brain to relax to. Edit : I don't mean to sound disrespectful towards your religion, I'm just stating how they work the same way in regards to helping you cope or calm down.
