Varkala is a cute town by the beach, I love it. You are such an adventurer, Roman ! looking forward to seeing more on Varkala. Looks like there are more expats/foreigners in Varkala than Bangalore, I may be wrong.

yes, it's so pretty here. I'm not sure if there are more Expats here, or if it's just that because Bangalore is so big that the expats are all spread out. But you're certainly right that I see lots of foreigners here in Varkala (and there are more Western restaurants in a small area). But you might be right that Varkala has more. In Bangalore, walking around, I would see maybe 1 or 2 foreigners a day. Sometimes none depending upon where I was going.

you could have started your journey from south (because it is easy and majority of people are literate) then you could have gone to north and finished with east (best for last)

Hey any content on Varanasi?
@romanlillie6 жыл бұрын
I wasn't making videos yet when I was in Varanasi. Do you have any specific questions? I really enjoyed it there but it can be intense. Lots to see by the Ghats but also lots of people there wanting to offer boat rides, tours, showing snakes in baskets....and also amazing food...

15$ per day ? Thats a tight budget even for a local keralites.A fairly good room=500 rs,BF-lunch-dinner-300 rs,miscellaneous-150 rs.Atleast spend the beggerclass budget of LA here, you can have a decent amenities here in kerala.I think the pricey thing really haunting you ,that i feel you actually dont enjoying much.Its like a phd research topic travel to me, that you are doing "coping mental trauma in travellers-from scammers,animals&birds ,insecured places ,low budget anxiety,etc".BTW -you cant get good quality tendercoconuts in touristy places or in cities--mainly you get the coconuts from tamilnadu which is low quality-(they have salty taste--soil of tamilnadu is not fertile for coconut growth)In kerala eventhough coconuts are abundant ,the climbers are rare nowadays makes tendercoconuts pricey and elusive.

Super interesting about the coconuts. And yes, I sometimes go over the $15 per day budget, but that's my target. And pretty often I'm there or below it. (France is next. Gotta have $ for there haha)
