In an every big city in US, rent is crazy and most often it is a huge gap between price and quality of the place. So many people cannot afford a one bed flat with is almost without kitchen, and washing machine, but with mold;/

I’m so glad I live in an area with a low cost of living. We live in the most expensive actual apartment in our city, but it’s still less than 1k a month with all utilities included. The only downside is that my city is car dependent. After my half of the rent, my overpriced car, other necessities, and extras, my living expenses are under $1400 each month.

Do you feel like you’re spending less now with splitting things with James compare to having roommates like before? I’ve seen a lot of rooms cost even more than your current rent in bk too and food etc.
