I love how realistic this is and even the food looks like something I would be able to make at home quick after a busy day! This calms me. Thank you!

Great video. You seem like a great person! I lived in NYC for 10 years. Do you find you're able to still save + invest with what's left over?
@tonyfung_

Hey Adi! Yeah, in fact, I put everything that’s left over right away into my savings. It’s certainly different for everyone though, and I know I’m very lucky to have a job that lets me live the way I do. Thanks so much for your kind words and question, I really appreciate it!

How often do you travel in a year?
@tonyfung_
@tonyfung_ Жыл бұрын
Hey Natasha, good question! Looking back, it seems like I do about ~8 trips a year. Most of these are just short weekend+2 trips, but a couple are week long trips. And I try to make use of holidays whenever I can. Thanks for watching!!

With a developer salary, does this amount feel comfortable? I’m thinking of moving to nyc but I don’t want the cost of living to decrease my lifestyle. I’m also a dev

Hey Sean, great question! I personally am comfortable with my current lifestyle here - I know I’m lucky enough to say that. Then again, I’ve also grown up here my whole life so I’m used to the cost of living. For me, as long as I live in a decent place, can hang out / dine out with my friends, and get to travel, I’m content 😌 But I also know that many who move to NYC dread how expensive everything is. There’s also the social aspect to keep in mind if you end up moving - it can be easy to feel lonely in a big city, I’ve seen it happen to developers who leave behind everything to move here Hopefully though, the dev job that you pick up here would come with a higher salary because it is a higher COL area Good luck, this is definitely a big decision to make :)

Did you not bring any gift for the wedding? 😨
@tonyfung_
@tonyfung_ Жыл бұрын
Heh, I was wondering when someone would comment about that! I did bring, but I didn’t think it was appropriate to share the cost of it or include it, especially since it’s just a one-time expense
