I work in healthcare and it is a very soul consuming job. Having my plant collection really helped me moving forward during the toughest time but I do agree that it gets to a point where it also becomes a struggle. I have been more selective of what I really love and enjoy instead of chasing Instagram-plants. Your story really resonates with me ❤

08:22 was SMOOTH - I guessed you were going to list youtubing as one of them but the way you did that was creative and unexpected. I gave you a thumbs up just for that :D although the rest of the video was also very pleasing as well in terms of filming/editing

I have also stopped even though I really love plants. I realized how much time I was spending taking care of plants and some for sick anyways and died. So much money I have wasted so much money. I would sometimes spend my day off taking of plants and I’m not doing anymore

I really relate to the focusing on cultivating a meaningful collection rather than just acquiring as many plants as possible. Also, great background music choices!

Congratulations on your self-discovery and seeing there is so much more to life than what we may have let ourselves develop a routine of. So happy for you. ❤

Hello Vionna! I used to be whenever I see a plant I like, I didn’t really think about its growing environment suitability and just buy it home as I was so attracted to their foliage. After self experiencing, I then realised it’s very important to understand one’s own environment nature is essential. So far I have been getting sun loving plants as I only have one space to grow, corridor with East morning sunlight❤ My indoor is not very suitable for plants, it has very little sunlight but when afternoon comes, it’s extremely hot and scorching! Unless I build in shelves with grow lights😅 currently my new plant is my sweet potato plant that I propagated in water, hope to grow a mini bonsai😃

Wow! I’m so glad to have stumbled on your channel. The to-do list on the back of your hand is insane! But then I looked around my bedroom and workspace, phone and I realized I’m also flooded with to-dos I created to remind myself, another to remind myself when I forget, etc etc. My notes app is drowning with daily tasks. It’s crazy. Thank you for this video! 💕Reminded me how necessary it is to unplug and make space for yourself and growth.

I first heard about Morning Pages from Julia Cameron in her book, The Artist's Way. I've not been able to do three, but even one is a start ☺ Unplugging is huge for me, it's such a time suck I don't even realize it. And I need to enjoy what I have too, not chase what I don't. My plants really calm me, as long as I don't get in over my head so these are very good reminders.
