Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us! I am 66 and struggling with "MCI". I will probably be having my 3rd neuropsychological testing sometime this Spring. I have one of the APOE4 genes. I've had a stroke and 2 TIAs but found out in May that I had a PFO and had that repaired/patched in August so hopefully that issue is resolved. I had a brain MRI 2 weeks ago that apparently is normal with the exception of a "susceptibility artifact" in my right thalamus that apparently I've had since 2018 but will ask my PCP about it. I don't know if that has an affect on my memory. 🙏

Thanks for your research. After this, and watching 60 Minutes last night, (the blood brain barrier & opening it with US to allow entry), I’m starting to wonder if any of the many supplements that I take are necessary. Some I take per doctor’s advice. 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️

Thanks for all your videos about brain health. I'm interested in what your take is on using MRIs to treat depression...is it wise to modify brain activity this way? I think it's called Stanford neuromodulation therapy. My adult daughter underwent this last year and she seems worse off than before.
