The old light was better because your room was darker and the light focused on the table. Predator lights will light up the damn room and took away focus from the table and to everything else.

@@1911FanBoi I did like how it highlighted the table in the room, however, this light casts zero shadow on the rails which is real nice. Two big reasons I wanted to get this light though is for folming. I don't get any flicker when filming slow motion and it's a lot easier to film overhead shots. Proper lighting is probably the biggest issue with most tables. They get it level, the cloth is right, the spacing is adequate, but the lighting often terrible. Really appreciate the before and after images.

I’m glad you liked the video. I always preferred the fluorescent table lights because of the light coverage but this light is on a whole other level! I hope I don’t get spoiled too much when compared to the lighting in the pool halls.

Me neither when I first started looking into it. You can save money by getting one without the different temperature settings but I wanted to be able to have options.

@@PoolAddiction The Cuetec is fantastic. If i compare it with my old cue, i played with a broom stick all the years. But with the Cynergy i must learn to play now. Aiming, Sidespin, Speed Control. Everything is different, but practising makes a lot of fun. Greetings.

That thing gets bright for sure. I like my diamond led light but I wish it had a few different settings for brightness. This is def a lot brighter.

It looks like the shadows directly under the cushions are much larger and darker with the Predator. It makes sense with the lights basically shining straight down. Thoughts?

They are definitely darker but they aren't bigger. If anything they are a little smaller since the light is directly above the rail. It might have been the camera angle that made them look bigger. They say as long as install them like they're supposed to be, the shadows will be minimal. One thing I have now is a distinct shadow on the floor from the table. Thanks for checking out the video!

I’m building a new house and I definitely want this light. Would it still install correctly if I have vaulted ceilings that are 9 to 10 feet tall? Or should I just go with a flat 9 foot ceiling?

I am not 100% sure of the length of the cables but as long as they're long enough it will work. I recently had someone comment about issues getting ahold of the seller of these lights. Predator puts their name on them but it is another company that makes them. If you contact them they may be able to give the cable length to see if it will work for you.

How high do you mount the light? No where in the manual does it tell you.

I wish their information was a little better. They told me at least 48" from the table but the ideal height is 5-6 feet if I remember correctly. My room is a regular ceiling height so I am at the 48" mark. Works just fine at that height for me. I hope you liked the video and thanks for watching!

THe first light you had was way better for playing pool. That new light is going to be great for filming but for playing pool I think its way too bright and blinding. Also, these type lights are super cheap and Predator really didn't put any flair into the design of the light. It looks cheap.

Luckily the new light does dim, however, it's still brighter than the other one when it's at the lowest setting. It's barely brighter though. I like the brighter light because I can see the edges of the balls a lot better and there are no shadows to deal with but I do notice a big difference when I go play league and tournaments because of the lower light quality.

The makers seem to not want to sell their products! Not a site or website that is functioning or telephone number to reach them! They are idiots about potential customers having access !!
