Thanks Karen! Glad you like the music - I had to find some new music as the old stuff has now changed from Creative Commons (free to use) to having a licence (expensive to use!) so glad the new music was a good choice :)

Hi there, I'm learning Scottish Gaelic and having alot of trouble with retaining the pronunciation as its so different from English which is the only language I've spoken since dabbling in japanese and Italian in my schooling years. Do you have any tips on how to really retain information like pronunciation of letters/ letter groupings?

Latha math, Pronunciation is a tricky one with Gàidhlig especially since the spelling is so different from the sound. I don't have any good tips but I've found lots of exposure to the language helps, so listening to a lot of BBC Radio nan Gàidheal and watching BBC Alba (when my VPN works). I'd also recommend the book Blas na Gàidhlig by Michael Bauer, which is a great pronunciation guide that uses the International Phonetic Alphabet. I know this hasn't been the most useful advice but maybe Lindsay has some ideas.

Thank you Prenna for answering! :) To compliment what Prenna has already said, I know that Fluent Forever (there's an app out now, free for 14 days) is quite focused on letter groups/pronunciation but not sure if it exists for Scottish Gaelic. Although, if you follow his method from the book I'm sure you could make it! :)
