Hello. I love your decorating and all the quilts and vintage finds you use to decorate! ❤❤❤ I love watching all your videos! I have a question: When you buy a fabric that you like, how much do you buy if you don’t have a particular pattern or even if you do have a pattern you are buying it for? You always seem to have leftover fabric to make matching items. I just love that.

You really are a stylist and have a great eye. I don't know if you make any of your own designs but I think if you made a quilt that was not a kit, pattern or someones collection of fabrics it would be beautiful.

Hi Gerry, I posted a new video and had to take it down as it was not totally all there. A technical problem. I noticed that you watched that one and left a nice comment. Just want to let you know I appreciate it and that the total video is now up and running. Your comment did not stay when video was corrected, but I did see it. Thank you!

I absolutely love your videos. You did a great job on your design boards. You have such a knack for decorating and displaying things. I wish you would show how to make the folded stars you use in your decor. Your video on the ties you use to display your quilts was wonderful. Thanks for all the inspiration.

Thank you for watching Terry! I am looking for the pattern. It was a free pattern my local quilt store printed out for us long ago. I will do some research on this and let you know. I thought it came from the internet for quilt shops to share.

Beautiful quilts! I’ve made design boards with Lori’s tutorial by using thick cardboard that comes with photo albums and scrapbooks too. That’s a cute idea using the covered buttons and magnets! 🧵🪡✂️♥️

Love all the design boards you made. I need to go back and check, did you say if there was a pattern for the quilt before Square Dance?
@pigtailquiltingstitching56352 жыл бұрын
Hi Katrina, thanks so much for watching! The quilt you mentioned is just 4 inch strips sewn together and then cut to 4” and then the rows sewed together. Then there is a way to cut the quilt once it is sewn so it is on point. I do believe it is a free pattern on the internet.

Greet video! Love all you design boards and quilts! Would you share the name of the table topper quilt under all your boards? Alsonwhat line of fabric did you Use making it? Looking forward to your next video hoping its your folder stars!
@pigtailquiltingstitching56352 жыл бұрын
Thank you Susanne for watching! The quilt was just 2 1/2 inch strips sewn together and then cut to 6 1/2 inch blocks and then sewn together alternating the blocks for a simple fence rail pattern. I think I just got the fabric at Joann’s Fabrics. Thank you for all of your kind comments! I am planning a folded star video in the future. I just have to work out how to film it while I make them so it can be easily be seen.

Someday I hope to have a house as cute and quilty as yours! Right now I have 4 young children so I keep my quilts in semi hiding, at least the ones I paid and arm and a leg to make. I may have missed this in the video so I apologize if I did but I was wondering what the pantograph is you used on the first couple of quilts? Do you longarm your own? Also wanted to add you look like my mom/aunt’s identical sister! They say everyone has a twin stranger out there!
@pigtailquiltingstitching56352 жыл бұрын
Thank you for watching Marce! The pattern on the quilts are called Esperanza. I don’t have a long arm machine. I take my quilts to a long arm quilter. This is one of her patterns from her computer. I also kept my quilts in places to see but not out and around my home when I had young ones too. I enjoyed quilting too when I had little ones. I started quilting when my youngest was four years old. So nice I have a twin stranger and it is your mom/aunt!
