Former pro here who was also a distance college swimmer. Totally agree - you can’t compare AG races to pro race. Totally different. And I think people don’t quite understand how fast the pros are now in the swim. Need to be close to world class swim bike and runner to have a shot at making it as a pro. Good luck in your journey!

I love how loyal you are to your fans and how you take your time to respond to each comment on your vids :) I am currently training to run a half marathon. Do you have any tips (nutrition wise, esp on race morning and the days leading up to the race)? :)

Thanks a lot!! 😊 I’d say take in a lot of carbs the week before. Don’t eat too much the day before the race(regular eating day) And practice taking in your race nutrition in practice. Like carrying your preferred gels Good luck 👍

What kind of finish times are the aim for 70.3 and full in terms of turning pro (other than as fast as possible ;) )

Well based on points from last year 70.3 Indian wells about 4:13 would get that points And Ironman Florida 2023 about 9:12 would qualify to get those points.
