I got to watch End of Evangelion in theaters this month and it was the best thing that's ever happened to me. The visuals and the animation on the big screen were obviously amazing but the thing I wasn't expecting was the SOUND! It was so loud that it shook the seats. And hearing Komm Susser Tod on theater speakers was surreal. Incredible. I still can't believe they finally brought it over. They should show it in IMAX next time

Didn't watch a lot this past month. Started with American Fiction. I thought it was kinda messy but very enjoyable and funny. I don't think it exactly deserved the oscar but I don't think it didn't either. Good movie. Next I watched Dune Part 1, which I had completely avoided until now because I didn't want to have to wait for Part 2. I enjoyed it, though I did feel kinda lost at points. I wasn't exactly in the right mindset when I watched it, should probably rewatch it at some point. Lastly, I rewatched Oppenheimer, which still holds up on repeat viewings. Still impressive that a 3 hour biopic surrounding WWII is one of my favorite movies from last year, nothing about that is the kinda stuff I generally like
