Hello there! Do you have glove recommendations for a female rider with shorter fingers? I've tried on over a dozen of gloves across many brands and am having a hard time finding one where all my fingers touch the tips. It's either my thumb and/or pinky and another finger doesn't reach.

Very informative! Thank you. I ride in the Tropics and heat is a big problem, especially on city commutes in Bangkok. After trying different types of mesh jackets which all made me feel like a Thanksgiving Turkey, I found a Thaichi silver perforated jacket with CE armour. The silver finish helps reflect the heat, so now I can ride in traffic without risking heat exhaustion.

I've been riding since 1975...when I as 14. I wear leather...and live in Savannah GA If you can afford it, kevlar jeans/jacket work well. But as far a money is concerned Leather is the most cost effective skin saving alternative there is. I ride year round. In the winter, I wear leather chaps, b2 leather bomber jacket, fleece or flannel lined jeans, heavy boot socks, heavy sweater or hoodie...but I've been fortunate to have lived iin Michigan and Maryland for the past 20 years. OTH, I wear leather chaps and a perforated jacket during the spring/fall and a leather vest during the summer...because road rash is a thing that I'd rather avoid.

I stumbled on to this video because I am looking at riding gear again. I see it's an older video but very helpful. I like the way your closet is organized Fall to the left summer/spring to the right. Do you move the fall gear over to the right when fall riding time is going on? Also, you have multiple helmets and that would be a good video to know why (assuming you have not done that before). Also, I like what you keep your helmets in. Where did you get that? I think I have been thinking about riding gear in a limited manner and I need to expand it and get more items. For example, you mentioned night riding items etc. This is very good and thanks!

@@DoodleOnAMotorcycle It takes a little bit of research to understand but lighter colors absolutely feel cooler than darker ones. @@DoodleOnAMotorcycle it seems to work well... is what I did was put the gloves on and then apply it to where I use the fingers the most, so on the pad but also all the way up to the just below the finger nail for the index and similar on the right middle finger, thumb was a little different... also note it will dye anything and everything black... on the black leather that isn't an issue but I do have white thread around my thumb on one of my gloves and it turned it black... I'd struggle deciding to use it on white gloves... also there is the metallic thread route... plenty of youtube videos on the subject but it wasn't something I was willing to do (basically stitch metallic thread on the finger pad area to conduct electricity from your finger to the surface where you touch the phone
