Im blind or bad hearing or smth? Did you really don't let off the throttle to the 0% while clutching when changing gear? You should always do that if bike hasn't got a quickshifter and even with him when you don't ride full throtlle or at least 60-70%. The one thing is that you actually burning the clutch in those moment (but heck it), the second and the most imporant is that it is dangerous - especialy while cornering and more when there is slippery surface you ride on. More healthy for the clutch and gearbox is actually if you just not using the clutch when shifting, but you should learn the clutchless gear changing techniques and then it will be ok. I see and saw this problem in few videos from very different upload datetime [i mean - and even years] and I think you just do that long time since you riding. Don't do that once again!. Its not a hate ofc im just want you to know, we all grabbing our experience with talk and reading I guess. Tbh I wouldn't tell anything if I wouldn't watch this while you ride bussa - its powerful, fast bike and you can't do those mistakes. On low CC bikes it will just jerk you and even while cornering there is a big room for mistakes, but not in 1000c++, uncontrolled wheely on streight road it is one thing and second and worst I think, while cornering when changing gear, your rear tire will change speed in one second and there is a room for not needed and dangrous lowside. Its very bad behaviour - you should look at that and try to change that I think. I know sometimes we all do like that for fast gear changing in low cc bikes not loosing "seconds" while speeding, but once again - in low cc bikes, not like a hayabusa or H2 or even R1, panigale, zx10r, z1000 etc..

It seems to me most riders have forgotten the adventure is the ride getting to Sturgis. I saw bike after bike being trailered. What's the point of that? Might as well leave the bike home and just take your leathers and walk around Sturgis.

I really don't see the choice as a big mistake. While not as comfortable as the Suzuki, it sounds a lot like this young woman actually enjoyed riding the bike. With the added upgrades, she seemed to have found it to be much better than the original in use. No experience on or off motorcycling is likely perfect. Considering the discussion and her thoughts in this video, I don't think this was a mistake as much as a learning experience. Enjoy it as much as you can.

Didn’t have any issue with lodging in the area ever since my aunt lives in Hills City. Not being a biker I avoid going to SD during the rally as everything is packed you can’t go anywhere it’s so crowded.

I'm sure doing this was a lot of fun and seriously no shade intended, but what is the point of blurring out the wheelie bars? But having said that, I owned a 98' Triumph T595 and it was an awesome wheelie machine. You could pull it up with just throttle, great bike.

The Hayabusa looks like a designer spit out some chewing gum, drew some wheels underneath and submitted it as a template.... and inexplicably Suzuki accepted it. Nevertheless, it was one of the most remarkable motorcycles of its time and everyone wanted one. Maybe not to ride it every day, but certainly 1-2 times a week to really let off steam.... As a German, this was also legally possible on the highway.

As much as I like and want a Bobber, why wouldn't Maria just use her MT-07 for the trip? It's faster and more nimble then the Bob...My wife has one and we do multi day road trips all the time with it.

I am re-entering the sport and I recently passed the MSF BRC in late October. I am buying a KTM 390 Duke (with already affixed crash bars) for the lower weight and standard type riding position. I am concerned about dropping the bike during my parking lot drills which will be my primary activity until I think I am worthy of the streets. Do you have any advice on what sort of physical reactions I should employ in the event in a slow speed bike dropping. I am not preoccupied with crashing, but forewarned is forearmed. How to use my leg(s), not looking down (I think) . I really don't want to smack my head. I won't be on the bike without full gear. Would so appreciate your advice. Your channel is awesome ! Bob

I just got a bike. Oh no! I thought I would save money!! LOL While I haven't heard all 10 of these, I've heard some of them, particularly the one about loud pipes. It seems logical to some degree, but I'll defer to your opinion on this one. I've seen some videos of yours, and at least one shares the idea of being 30x more likely to be in an accident than if driving a car. Can you expand on that one, please? I'd like to see some really solid evidence to really have it make sense.

#9, my best tip is is that other motorists are often only looking for cars or trucks, not motorbikes. They can be looking right at you, but because you’re not a car or bike, it just doesn’t register in their head that you’re there. That’s how so many “I didn’t see you mate” accidents happen when the motorcyclist was clearly visible. Ride like they looked right at you but didn’t see you. Be ready for them to have not seen you, even if you saw their head pointed your way. Approach intersections by giving yourself options.

Girl! 2:40 - Look at your thermostat in the house any day, or the temperature in a car when you're comfy! 80° with a jacket and full helmet on is nowhere near near as comfortable as you are at 50 to 70 mph in 85 to 95° weather in the breeze! wind chill is there helping you always, like it or not. Still, great job warning folks about the danger of freezing, thanks!

I've been riding better than fifty years, down on the road several times, you call them pretty accurately. I've had a few crashes I was lucky to live through. Lots of road rash, lots of healing. I was chased by a guy in a vette, a cool trucker saved my life, ran the vette into a guard rail. That was back in the seventies, riding is much nicer today, lot more mutual respect from car drivers.

Last winter I geared up with a plug in jacket with glove connectors. The bike I bought came with heated grips! Heated grips! What a country! With the jacket and grips I am comfortable down to 20 degrees air temp. I bought the cardo system but since I typically ride alone I don’t use the communication part. I love having music, spoken nav and taking calls. I’m told the connection is better than in the FJ. I keep my phone in the saddle bag so keeping voice commands is really nice. Cardo volume up!

Also - I bought a dash cam offa Amazon that has two cameras and Apple play. So I’ve got a big screen for nav and I can control a lot of my phone features from the screen. It also has TPMS which is nice. I have connected it to my garage door opener so I can open the door when I hit the alley and cruise into the garage like a cool kid.

I rode a Honda VTX 1300 over 100,000 miles. It still ran well when bought a different bike. Before that I had a Yamaha V-Star 650 and it was quite a lot like that Suzuki c 50. I also had a Suzuki Savage 650 at one point. About the only "problem" I had with the Japanese Cruisers was simply that they were all 5 speeds. That is the one thing Harley does better is that most of them are 6 speeds. The metric cruisers are good bikes especially if you like the back roads,,, meaning the 65 mph roads. All my metric cruisers ran at a little higher rpms than I really liked when I was going 80 on the interstates.

I have a 2020 scout bobber twenty. I have put 16000 miles on it mostly riding 100 mi per day but have taken it on a couple 3 hr tours to the smokeout chopper rally. I need to change suspension as it feels like a hard tail with the solid mount tractor seat. but it's a great bike.

Love my ISB twenty. It is not the most comfortable for longer trips (take mine 1,100 miles from Philly to new Richmond, WI each year) but you learn tricks to make the trips tolerable. Will probably be upgrading the shocks next riding season to make the trips easier.

You certainly do a job good lifting it. However real world conditions aren't always perfect, it often happens you drop your bike when you're on a hill, in the wet or uneven ground, ladened with a load of bike gear on or all of the above, on a few occasions I've had to take my luggage of my my 1150GS to get it up, ooo-er. But well done.
