What I wish I knew before climbing Panama's highest peak | Volcan Baru

Imagine a sunrise where you can see two vast seas from the highest summit of a country.
This is what every hiker is hoping for when embarking on one of Panama's greatest adventures, a trek to Volcan Baru, Panama's highest peak.
We started our hike deep in the Talamanca mountain range in Costa Rica, where the day before we summited Cero Chirripo.
We had the pleasure of seeing Volcan Baru both from the town of Volcan and Boquete.
Due to works on the track we sadly couldn't summit Baru from the town of Volcan, but still managed to have an amazing hike and adventure from the picturesque town of Boquete.
From our Central America trip, I have to say that the hike to Volcan Baru was my favorite, and this is because nothing really went to plan - this made it an incredible adventure
