WHAT I WISH I KNEW BEFORE GETTING SISTERLOCKS

I installed my daughters locs when she was four. She started out with 649. Fast forward 2 years and I couldn't cope with retie time (nor could she). I combined them down to just over 370. She's so happy and so am I. Retie time now takes 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Your hair has progressed beautifully but girlllllll, that is a lot of locs. Would you ever combine them to cut down retie time & possible cost? It’s crazy how much stylist charge for loc maintence I’m a diyer I have just under 190 locs would’ve loved more but knew retie time would kill me. Plus I maintain 3 loc heads in family as well as my own 😞 not many loctitians here in my town uk 🇬🇧 not crazy for locs like USA 🇺🇸

I go to Seesun! She’s a bit pricy but does great work and moves quickly! I went to one other person when I first moved here but she doesn’t do locs anymore :)
