Oh I told my family I reverted few months ago. The things I heard, the insults, that was extremely rough time. I knew it won’t be easy but honestly you cannot prepare for something like that. Now it all calmed down but there is still long way to go.

Masha Allah❤️ it's so nice to see other reverts and hear their stories, I reverted 3 years ago alhamdulillah and recognise a lot of what u say, and i wish i knew these things before too, especially that of not putting so much pressure on myself to learn and achieve things too quickly. One thing I wish i knew before i reverted, or started wearing hijab is the islamophobia, discrimination and passive aggressiveness that comes with being a visible muslim in some places, but I have no regrets!
