It's okay to be bored as it means you're no longer a tourist

saying yes to as many things as you can is so good, because especially the one term exchanges go by sooo fast! I wanna go on an exchange to canada, and especially the fall semester and i already know it's going to go by in a blink

Hi Katie! I'm revisiting this video because I'm going to the UK next thursday to start my masters degree. I wanted to say your videos helped me a lot since I started preparing for this almost two years ago, I found you halfway through my anxiety filled preparation around the beginning of last year 2022 and it helped me a lot. You're very relatable. I might create my very own youtube/journal thinggy because you inspired me to do so, but mine might be in spanish. Lots of love from Colombia... soon UK lol.

im moving to Glasgow in September for my masters and your videos have been super helpful (particularly the packing ones, I have a lot of stuff 😬) and keep me really excited to go! I have been to Scotland four times already so I don't think I'm scared of the unknown so much as curious to see what it will be like to actually live there!

Absolutely loved this video! I am actually from Scotland 🏴 haha so I hope you enjoyed your time here. ❤️ I’m leaving for a year in august (hopefully) and going to study in Portugal. Though initially very excited and keen, I can’t help feel a little afraid of moving to a completely new country, and I’m apprehensive about this new experience. Loved being able to relate to a lot of the content within your video 😊

10:13 (or around that moment) "something that i'll translate to my *actual* life", well that's what keeps me thinking and thinking... exchanging is good but you leave your permanent life on hold don't you? what if you come to discover later that you should have made use of that time at home? what if you come back and things aren't the same?
@РегинаГоловченко-х9э3 ай бұрын
I guess, it's just something that you just accept, that you deal with. I mean - you can't turn back in time and you can't change things that had already happend, so the only thing left is to do something woth the actual things and in this right moment. Not regretting about past, even though it feels like you should - part of the maturity. As soon as you understand "yeah i shouldn't have left, but I still gained some experience and that's cool too" iyou will stop thinking about regret. To sum it up, don't regret about things and circumstances that haven't happend yet Hope that helped you 🤍

would you recommend going in the spring or fall semester, if you could only choose one?
@c1aire2322 жыл бұрын
when does the fall semester at edinburgh usually end? the website seems to say late december (close to christmas) but it looks like you got home a lot earlier than that?
@livloren10772 жыл бұрын
