Hey Timo, Can you share why you preferred Austria over Germany. I'm interested because, I'm considering moving to Austria for my masters and I plan to stay there for citizenship by naturalization. My instincts prefer Germany, but I can't afford moving there. This does not mean I dislike Austria but rather it is just a matter of preference due to premature information.

Hey Zain, Austria has pretty much the same living cost as Germany. I chose it because of WU, a pretty good and modern University. Also I wanted to move out of Germany.

Hey! Thanks for the video! Sorry if I missed this but did you study WiSo or BBE? I just watched a video of a BBE student and she said that in BBE you have to attend more than 80% of classes . I plan to work as a working student and that would probably be more doable if I would be free to choose to attend the classes or not (also in case I feel that I would understand things better on my own I guess)

The entrance exam is not that hard at the WU like at other universities. Many friends of me and I passed the entrance exam by first try. The entrance test won't be the biggest deal

@@adrian-victor2727 it's actually great. If you want to make it you'll have to study a lot. For lectures you need to register for them early. But other than that the campus is amazing, the profs are nice and will help and some even offer advice for startups. If you're thinking about business then WU is great

Timo, I'm planning to apply for MSc Marketing in Wu Vienna from India. Do I need to know German? I can't speak or understand German. The course would be offered in English afaik. I have poor GPA in my Degree college like around 6/10. Do I stand a chance and what are some other business schools offering the same degree in Vienna?

If the course is offered in English, you will be surrounded by lots of international students and you will not need to speak German. I'm not sure for the GPA of the Marketing Master, but I would definitely give it a try!

@@TimoNikolai Awesome! Now how would you rate studying in Wu on a 10 point scale where 1 is too easy and 10 being too difficult? Do you think Wu would add actually add value to my profile when I'd be looking for a job there? How are they with people from outside Europe?

@@Metalheadharsh The Bachelors Degree was an 8 out of 10. I also studied in the US, where it was way easier. Vienna is pretty international. But as I said in the video, some people are not so open, but in general people at Universities are happy to meet people from other countries.

I am doing the same course in WU and from my experience, your GMAT score matters more than your GPA and a solid SOP. You won't need German in day-to-day life but for jobs definitely.

They say that you need around 500+ GMAT score atleast but didn't specify anywhere on an acceptable score. Could you help me with that? What score should I aim for and how did you study for GMAT and from where and 3 years work experience a good thing?
