Good vid. I'm a huge lipless crank guy. I throw em all year long and while it's known as a fall or pre-spawn bait I've caught some chunks in the hottest parts of summer many times.

So excited for this one. I don’t have too many grass lakes where I’m at but a lipless is something I want to get better at.

Same, I have a few lakes with grass near me, but lipless cranks are something I've never had a ton of confidence in.

Thanks dude! I don’t have many grass lakes in my area but know I need to get better with traps.

That's the one sneaky thing about trap fishing, you really actually don't need grass you just pretend like it's there and rip that thing

I’ve been loving a mh moderate rod with my lipless lately. Interestingly the same company makes my favorite lipless rod and my favorite lipless too!

My man, in the south, especially Florida, you know the lipless crankbait is a must. You have to throw it during December thru February. 👏👍 Love your vids, I not even for how long now been following but keep going, dude.

I’ve been watching your videos here and there. This is by far my personal favourite. I’ve never really learned, nor have I really used these lipless baits here in Ontario Canada. I now subscribed to the KZbin channel. I’ll be tuning in to more of your videos. Can you compare the lipless steel version of the blade bait to the ones you’ve use today? Cheers
@mikeybalzz3 сағат бұрын
Thanks for the sub man definitely tried if you have early milfoil growth up there when it comes to Blade Blades versus a leafless I usually fish them a lot deeper and treat them more like a spoon that you fish horizontally

I wish someone would have told me you can work them like jigs. My FAV way to use em. I always thought you either had to reel em or yo yo vertical. LV500 has been hands down best lipless for me. I got tons of videos smashing monsters on lipless. Or as i like to call em Rattle Traps. All of em.are called rattle traps to me lmao. Kind of like used say hey lets go play nintendo when you might be playing sega or ps1 or 2 etc.

Lipless cranks is something I've always wanted to be proficient with. My lakes have limited windows for the presentation.

You need to try a Scenkostix Chattertrap rod. I know they are pricey and cheap just like you but I will to spend the money on Alex’s OG 7’4” MHMF OG Chattertrap for the trap and a 7’6” Mag MHMF for a chatter donker I know you like transparent traps but Chrome and blue back is my confidence color

Alex is one of the coolest guys and he makes a great product man I just love the bend on that xd3

Hey Mike! I’m thinking about picking up an old 95 bass tracker tx17 on fbm… is there anything I should worry about with it being a riveted hull or anything…? Would love your input 🤙
@mikeybalzz3 сағат бұрын
They are great boats but they are riveted so you need to be a little careful about slamming them into big waves and things like that but it's nice because they're very easy to modify and extend the deck only downside is battery space and Storage gets a little tight
@Efishnseetv3 сағат бұрын
@ thanks ma dood! Ya it be my first boat so I was thinking of getting something older/cheaper even if I need to watch tiny boat nation vids and do some work to it… lol
