The biggest difference is always going to be that one is an egregious knockoff of a jdm original. Japanese version is more expensive, better action, and ultimately designed to catch highly pressured fish. Ripoff version is cheaper and shittier, but readily more available. I would never hate on someone buying the zoom version if price consciousness is the ultimate decision, but I work with my hands for a living and will always spend my extra hard earned money on an original 100% of the time out of respect for fellow craftsman.
