Speaking of wearing nicer things home vs when going out - I made that decision a few years ago. I work from home and enjoy spending most of my time at home, and I realized that’s where my life really takes place, so I should not save the good sweaters for special occasions. Now I wear my best cashmere clothes at home and there’s something about knowing you casually and nonchalantly wear the best for yourself only. Like being royalty in the best sense❤

I do the same thing, cashmere, and having 3 cats is fine. If they get ruined, it's fine bc it's my home, and I want to feel good. I don't do out a lot bc I'm chronically ill. But I enjoy it, and it makes me feel better using my good things. Emma, could you do a video about polo neck jumpers that doesn't itch. My neck has become so sensitive, and they can't be too tight either 😅 Need space in my clothes.

For anyone interested in that black leather crescent shoulder bag from Arket, M&S currently has a similar one called the Faux Leather Shoulder Bag! I've been eyeing that Arket one for a while, but it's a little out of my price range. I only just received the M&S one, so I'm not sure how it will wear and tear, but it looks really smart and is a great alternative if real leather isn't in the budget and you love the style of the Arket one!

lots of fun! i know redheads can wear black but i find it quite flat and undimentional. prefer when you wear warmer tones and textures - love the greens and browns the warmer neutrals on you. When i was your age i reached for a lot of black and it really didn’t suit me- now i have no black in my wardrobe and don’t miss it. when you use bags and shoes that echo your hair color it looks very harmonious 🎉

Some nice things there - love the Mango brown coat - but thankfully the scarf jacket idea is quite a popular style with other clothing companies this winter as £810 for the Toteme one is a bit steep! The Arket one is also nicer imho. I couldn't cope with 100% polyester PJs - too slippery and sweaty, cotton all the way for me at bedtime (bed linen too).

I sized up to a L in the flannel trousers for the additional length but they are big on the waist. Fortunately they’re an elasticated waist and they have a tie so it works 👍🏼 The satin PJ’s I have in a size M. Technically I’d be a small but I usually size up in any PJ’s to have a nice slouchy fit x

I do wear real leather clothing because it’s breathable and I’m allergic to plastics, but, yes it stinks. Especially with more than one item around. Some brands are using goat leather now, like Sezane. I bought one goat leather skirt from them without knowing what it smells like, absolutely hideous, it’s been airing out on another, my hottest, floor for two years. I don’t know if I’ll ever be able to stand wearing it, maybe on a very cold and windy day. Cow leather is bad enough. Some people like the smell, but I can only smell dead animal. Being allergic to plastics is not only a nuisance, it makes my wardrobe three times more expensive.🙂

I would always rather go for leather for longevity and quality but like you say that smell is very specific and it makes me feel ill. I often find that bags and footwear don’t have the same smell but clothing does and I just can’t shake it when I smell it 🥴
