Banana Republic in the US is making the EXACT same turtleneck as the Soft Goat but it cost at least 1/3 less. Banana Republic has honed in on ethically sourcing their materials and their newest designs are very modern and sophisticated . I love cashmere but i just can’t get behind paying over 500 US For one sweater. Even Banana’s double faced cashmere is only 350 US

I really really appreciate how you are going through how the different fabrics and threads are the feel of things I think that's super important. I've been watching a lot of sweater videos and I keep waiting for them to tell me if it's scratchy you know cause you can't tell I'm trying to watch their body language to see if it's comfortable I mean summer stuff obviously you can tell when it's a soft, cozy sweater, but such especially with those wool sweaters I want to know or Other mixes anyway, thank you for doing that

I’m so tired of high rise jeans. I want midrise. Here in the states they are starting to coming back. I’m very short waisted with very long legs. My perfect rise is 10.5-11” in the front with a 32” length inseam for the legs. So hard to find, but I’m on a mission!

Just to say thank you Emma for your M &S jeans video, I forgot to make a comment when I originally watched it. I agree about jeans nowadays - almost all of those on the market are high rise. Well, I'm not, so any high rise pair of trousers leaves a bulk of unnecessary fabric around my crotch, as a result of which I haven't bought a pair in the last few years...

The same here! To find nice mid rise jeans is a big challenge on its own. I am 5,3 and all these high riser are just poking my ribs. Moreover they say that high rise jeans/ trousers elongate the legs… at the front - maybe, however at the back they make short women sooo disproportional giving the same legs appearance (not any longer), but the bum instead looks loooong AF 🤨

Uff, I would be thankful if more influencers would talk about hate towards high rise jeans, perhaps, brands would consider this more. I am short, therefore my top body part is short. All high rise jeans are so much higher than my belly button, making them so uncomfortable and unflattering. I can’t sit when I’m wearing them, waist is literally cutting into my stomach and due to gastric problems it hurts. And I have a bit round belly, this also is the reason why they are sooooo uncomfortable. Mid rise and only mid rise. I have only couple pairs of jeans at the time as it is so hard to find nice mid rise pair, and I wear them usually to the death 😂

There should be options for people with different bodies, but actually I observe the opposite trend. I used to buy all my jeans at C&A, they used to have them in three lengths, now there's just one, too short for me, and everything is high rise...

mango made great flannel pjs last winter. i got a pair in gorgeous beige colour and loved it so much i got the exact same style when it appeared in their outlet just couple weeks ago now. they have the same pjs in gray colour this season, i will be picking it up as well (hopefully the fit and cotton are the same as the beige ones)

I'm with you all the way regarding the Jeans cut, I don't understand why if a particular cut is style, it's almost impossible to find anything else. High rise styles don't suit my shape, and it's a real struggle to find anything else. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Emma, how do you wash your Arket re-down coat? Washed mine last year and it got ruined :(

I have washed mine and haven't had any issues. The down does clump but I then pop it in the tumble dryer on a low heat/cold (or special feather setting if you have it) with a tennis ball or tumble dryer ball. This then fluffs it back to normal. Sorry to hear your has been ruined from washing ❤️

Dear Emma, please if you could do a dog walking or outdoors countryside walking outfit? I’m struggling to find suitable trousers/boots. I wear normal jeans or leggings for dog walking but when it rains my legs are soaking wet and cold 😢. Waterproof is an option but I don’t want to wear them every time as they are ugly 😅

I think this is a little unfair as I always try and keep a balance of high street and premium items in my videos and whenever I feature a premium/designer item I usually reference alternatives either in the video or in the description box. Although I appreciate the cashmere jumper is a higher priced point item, there are other items from Uniqlo (£12) and Mango (£35) that I would deem as affordable but still good quality 👍
