The thing is tengen was the perfect hashira for the battle. He is the handsomest, meaning Gyutaro would be more willing to torture him and spend more time actually battling him (aka: bullying him). Tengen's personality (His love to gloat) would also play a factor. He has the best hearing, if it wasnt him, daki's cave wouldnt have been found and our fav boar boi wouldve died and so was the all the civilians there. He has the greatest poison immunity/resistance of the whole harshira team, meaning everyone else wouldve died A LOT sooner. Additionaly, depending on the harshira, they'd be ultimately usless. For example, Shinobu could've have been able to do anything againts uppermoon6. Her poison wouldnt have been strong enough and she wouldnt have been have to physical power to sever his neck. Additionally, gyuatro is faster than tengen (the fastest hashira) meaning she wouldve gotten speed blitz aswell.

Yeah people down level Gyutaro and Uzui so much, but both of them were actually pretty insane and probably had the potential to be top 3 hashira/kizuki (given a factor or two) Uzui is insanely fast, the 2nd physically strongest hashira, nearly as experienced as gyomei, swings strong enough to create REAL EXPLOSIONS - not breathing style effects or those friction bombs, actual goddamn explosions, has insane hearing, has the musical score ability (which is an absolutely broken ability - basically a weaker ultra instinct), probably has insane versatility (even against an upper moon he only used 3 breathing styles), insane control over his own body (he can literally stop his own heart), and has all the perks of being a shinobi like poison resistence (which is the only reason even he was able to beat Gyutaro). Uzui is definitely on the higher end of base hashira, maybe even top 3. Now imagine if he got a slayer's mark. That already broken musical score? Now he gets it faster and can take more advantage of it with increased speed to dodge or strength to block. That insane speed? Now he's outmaneuvring most upper moons (except Akaza with his speed and Kokushibo with his wide area attacks) Gyutaro's poison is already strong enough to instakill a normal person with just a scratch. He had insane combat IQ, probably the best of any upper moon since he was picking up on relatively tiny things like how frequently Uzui was using each of his hands, and he adapted his attacks around how his opponent was dodging to make undodgable attacks. He was fast enough to keep up with and even outpace Uzui. His BDA is already powerful enough without poisoning people that some hashira could just die to a rampant arc rampage or a rotating circular slashes. There's already an arguement to say he's stronger than Gyokko, but he's held back by his attachment to Daki and his humanity (like Muzan himself said). His final attack is also an insane feat which shows just how much of his power he wasn't using because of his humanity, imagine if instead of during one attack, that extra power was put into his other attacks. Anyways enough yapping/glazing lmao

People down rate Tengen because he almost died to the lowest upper moon and lost one of his hands. Yet people don’t understand Tengen was one of the strongest Hashira in that point of time. The demon slayer corps knew an upper moon lived in the Entertainment District which has killed 6 other Hashira before. Knowing this why would they send their weakest Hashira, it doesn’t make sense. Any other Hashira would’ve died to the poison, Tengen has the fastest reaction speed and is the fastest and one of the physically strongest Hashira.

Only Gyomei stands a chance. There's a reason it was Tengen who fought him. He's the only one who can fight the poison. None of the Hashira would have the mark here so they'd all get poisoned and killed. Also none are as fast as Tengen, sorry but they're not, especially at this point in time. His crazy music attack was what saved him from the storms of sickles every time, and a single scratch would be deadly to the rest. If any other Hashira was there instead of Tengen they would have lost. Gyomei is debatable even before the mark since he's just cracked.

Let's be realistic, none of them would survive, possibly except for Gyomei. The only reason why Uzui performed well in the fight, was not only because he had support, but also because he is a Shinobi. He is essentially trained to withstand substances, one being poison, for a long period of time compared to an average human, not to mention he has breathing techniques, but death is still inevitable if not treated immediately. Not to mention, he is stated to be one of the fastest, IF NOT the fastest Hashira around that time. He's speed made up for his lack of techniques against Gyutaro. Plus, his breathing covers a wide range of space that helps him easily deflect any incoming attacks, such as explosions. His refined swordsmanship with two blades can be considered as a factor as parrying both Gyutaro's poison attacks and Daki's would be difficult for a one mere katana, even for a Hashira who is not as fast and quick as Uzui. His Musical Score was also a major feat, as he was able to read and dodge even before the attack get close to him via reading the musical notes. Don't downplay Uzui, just bc he lost to UM6 who is presumably the weakest? Nah, the demon slayers weren't even as individually strong as the uppermoons to begin with before the Hashira trainings arc.

Yeah tengen was really fast and resistant to poisen but shinobu and gyomei are faster than tengen and most of the hashira can resist poisen but not for as long as tengen so in short the other hashira can defeat them because they are stronger than tengen except shinobu who can mabey defeat them but kanao is not as strong in this season so shinobu might die protecting kano or mabey she might defeat them so it is safe to say that all the hashiras can defeat the siblings but we don't know 100 percent so we can just speculate

Good video btw, although I disagree with some stuff I believe that the chances of success for other hashiras are really small, since they lack poison resistance and they would be forced to do a "no hit" battle. Also, these hashiras lack power ups like the mark (Tanjiro needs to unlock it first before the others can use it). They also are weaker than their buffed versions from Hashira Training Arc Tengen was, in my opinion, the top 4-5 of the hashiras unmarked during this arc, and his senses granted by experience are really sharp, so that shows how much of a problem Gyutaro can be I believe that only big guy Gyomei (Sanemi maybe if he uses his marechi blood?) would actually behead Gyutaro during the time of Entertainment District Arc

You really didn't consider how lethal Gyutaro's poison was. Well tengen had some sort of resistance so he was able to fight for sometime but his movements were heavily impacted and when Gyutaro landed a hit on Tanjiro he was immobilized in around 10-15 seconds so any other hashira(Except Gyomei) is pretty dead when they Fight Daki and Gyutaro together as it will be even more difficult to dodge a hit and Shinobu and Muichiro will definitely die in few seconds because of their small body

You can't use feats for everything sir. Tengen was poisoned and weakened the entire fight while having to dodge Daki's attacks and saving Tanjiro and looking out for people in the village. It was a much harder battle. Muichiro needed the mark to beat Gyutaro. Muichiro Hiro couldn't dodge an attack from a Hantentu clone, but could still scratch Gyokko. Like he said, Gyokko's senses are dull, the opposite of Gyutaro. Mitsuri came in fresh against Zohakuten who wasn't going full power because e wasn't the main body. Mitsuri also needed the mark but sill couldn't beat him. Akaza was toying with Rengoku and wasn't serious. Akaza could've easily killed Rengoku and the trio. Akaza was also toying with Tanjiro in the infinity castle, an only went somewhat full power against Giyuu but he had the mark and had to fight Tanjiro at the same time. He died by plot armor, still could've won. Shinobu couldn't keep up with Douma at all. Poisoned Douma was said to be so fast it was like he was teleporting. Douma easily Blitzes Shinobu. There was no similarity in speed. Douma was only playing with Shinobu and allowed himself to get hit. Stats confirm that Tengen was 2nd to Gyomei. Only Tengen and possibly Gyomei can beat Gyutaro. All the others get mid - high diffed.

Gyomei: One-Shots Sanemi: Kept up with suppressed Base Kokushibo (Upper 1), will have no difficulty with Gyutaro (Upper 6) Shinobu: She was faster than Doma's perception (Upper 2). But since she can't decapitate demons it depends if the poison will work or not. Obanai: Was able to cut Muzan's neck, also no-diffs since he is too fast Rengoku: Was relative to Compass Needle Akaza (Upper 3), even if he was playing, that's enough for him to outscale Gyutaro. Giyu: Was relative to Compass Needle Akaza, once again even if he was holding back, enough to outscale. Mitsuri: Was faster than Zohakuten (Upper 4), I'm sure she can defeat Gyutaro. This video is wrong in probably many ways but I’ll address the main one. Tengen is highly underrated but people forget he is in fact extremely strong. I’ll use official data books for this. Tengen is fastest in movement speed, second strongest and has a incredible poison resistance. He is able to use bombs to attack while every other hashira just have fake effects. So yeah Tengen uses actual bombs, and not only this but Tengen is a trained shinobi who shows great iq during the fight and also has a technique that can counter many attacks which is the musical score. Any other hashira couldn’t withstand as much as Tengen since Tengen was the best option available.

Yeah no, i have to disagree with a lot of these scenarios. Tengen was able to survive because of Shinobi training. His resistance to posion is what essentially carried him. Even if other hashiras are stronger, they most likely cant withstand the posion, and it will he fairly hard to avoid Gyutaro landing at least one clean blow on them. Shinobu, and though unlikely, Giyu may be the only other hashiras to survive with the assistance of the Kamado squad. Shinobu might be able to resist the posion, and Giyu's dead calm may suffice as a means for defense so that a clean blow of poison wont connect. As for all the scenarios without the kamado squad, every hashira would die without assistance from them. Youre forgetting how strong Gyutaro's poison is, and how unlikely it is that most of the hashira can defend against the poison and daki at the same time. Daki alone isnt a threat whatsoever, but Gyutaro giving each hashira a run for their money might open them up for daki to deliver solid blows. Alone, even Tengen would die, because all it takes is one hit from the poison and your performance will decrease substantially. Even if Sanemi and Gyomei are somehow stronger than Gyutaro, they are bound to be hit at least once. That one hit is honestly all Gyutaro needs to change the tides of battle

I feel like this video is vastly underestimating how powerful Gyutaro is. He basically solo'd Tengen and the boys, while giving up half his concentration to protect Daki (after he gives her one of his eyes), not to mention, Tengen was equipped with laced projectiles to help neuter the demons. Like, forget his poison, Gyutaro is a skilled warrior, he even killed a samurai in one move BEFORE becoming a demon and he was still a teenager. His fighting skills even had Tengen struggling to adapt, and a he's former shinobi on top of being a Hashira. Now, add the poison to ALL of that, Gyutaro is not going down easily to any of them, not even Gyomei. Especially since the poison breaks down the body and Tengen only lasted as long as he did due to being resistant to poison.

To everyone who think that any Hashira who has this, this and that feat, bla bla bla, read this: Sanemi LITERALLY said that the Hashira Training really paid off, when he was fighting Kokushibo alongside Gyomei. That means the HT helped the Hashiras increase by A LOT. So basically post HT, the Hashiras would be indeed much stronger, and if those versions fought, yes, some don't need marks to beat Gyutaro and Daki. But we're talking before that. If they don't have the massive boosts of the marks and the HT increasing their base higher, then they're like Tengen, if not MUCH worse, because he's quite fast, his weapons literally spin around, so he's supposed to be much faster than a swordsman swinging a sword by nature. Guess what? He was barely fast enough. One more thing, JUST BECAUSE some UM is 6, and another is like 4, that doesn't necessarily mean that UM4 > UM6 in absolutely every single damned category! It just means that for one or another reason, they were considered to be stronger than that demon in some sort of a way. For example: In a Gyokko VS Gyutaro, Gyokko must have been able to trap Gyutaro or Daki, or surprise them with his tricky attacks. Let's not forget that base Muichiro was obliterated by Gyokko, and that this demon is quite tricky. Water prison + fish transformation punches are quite tough to counter if you don't have a mark or if you're not prepared for them. Though I believe that Gyutaro and Daki COULD potentially beat Gyokko, since he's really jobbing a lot. Hantengu. If Hantengu gets inside that tree, Gyutaro is going to struggle a lot in trying to pry him out and defeating him, while Zohakuten is fucking him up. Mitsuri, while she was capable of overpowering Zohakuten once, she got fucked right after that, and even after unlocking the Mark, Zohakuten almost killed her. So it's not *speed* or whatever, it's again the tricky ways to defeat Hantengu. For Akaza, the fucking Compass Needle is one of the most broken abilities. Senses all attacks, adapts to the opponent's speed... Plus all these shockwaves. Akaza will win in the long run. Doma. He's quite smart but he's really jobbing. His ice techniques would really make Gyutaro and Daki struggle, and his final statue might overwhelm them, especially if he's absolutely serious. And Kokushibo... Upon slashing, both Gyutaro and Kokushibo release flying slashes. Kokushibo however has MUCH more fighting experience, and he's got MANY attacks and forms. Plus he has second phase, which is gonna be WAY too much. See? I barely used speed in this. It's just that the UMs can be stronger than each other due to different techniques, not due to *sPeEd*...

I will be brutally honest, after you see the fight and read the manga you clearly see how this would go: for rengoku if he wouldne have trown hes life away in the mugen train he would go there with the trio that will be more powerfull since they are now hes students, rangoku never lets hes guard down, even if he defeats the demon and if he doesnt notice daki is dissapearing he would take action and end the fight quickly since like we all saw, so far back in the story he was almost able to kill akaza and with no mark so he would win easly especcially having a tanjiro that could tkae care alone of daki. Shinobu wpuld go there with kanao and maybe the trio, still she is the fastest hashira and she wont be caught by gyutaro attack, poisonibg both daki and gyutaro while the others will help, she would be able to win even whitout the trios help but just kanao taking care of daki. Sanemi would go alone like you said and would maybe kill unintentionally gyutaro by cutting daki into pieces, something that could happen also to obanai, still if gyutaro get out theyll have problems and would loose. Gyomei would most likely win but he would get injured badly since gyutaros blood tecnique is a counter to gyomei, having thousand of blood slashes to counter will let hes guard down and loose a limb or even die, even tengen that had a similar weapon that should make thing easier lost and eye and a limb and the worst thing is that its a 2 v 1 so dont hope for anythibg good sibce you have to remeber that when gyomei fought koku he was also backed up by sanemi, muichiro and genya. Muichiro on the other hand will just die whitout a doubt. Mitsuri wont be accompanied by tanjrio and the others sinec they dont know each other but they couel possibly meet each other for the mission just if rengoku is alive and he asks them to go with her, if that the case than they woudl win and mitsuri would defeat gyutaro thx to ther tecniques that counter easly hes blood slashes, if shes alone she would put a good fight but eventually die, luckly she isnt rengoku so if she find them she will just try to keep them busy untill the sun set.

You say u did your research but maybe you didn’t do enough a lot of ppl seems to forget tengen was nerfed the entire fight with poison that’s supposed to bring a person down in seconds lost an arm and still put on a great fight. Also your giving other hashiras feats that they wouldn’t have at the time of season 2. None of the hashiras are poison resistant besides tengen so the moment they get the smallest cut from gyutaro it’s game over none would last long enough to the point tengen did with maybe the exception of Gyomei. But since gyutaro is ranked 6 ppl underestimate how deadly he is but in reality he’s the most deadly hashira after akaza upper 5 and 4 just have better hax tengen literally was made to fight gyutaro.

I think you miss an important bit about Shinobu. Since she and Kana both try to infiltrate - they could just poison Daki ahead of Combat by putting it into her food/drink/Makeup as they serve her in the district. When they eventually fight Daki would be no threat at all due to the poison. How Shinobu and Kana would fare against Gyomei I donno though.

I feel like all the hashiras except gyomei and sanemi would die because the reason tengen survived is because he was a former shinobi(ninja) and had gone through rigorous training, one of which was almost being immune to poison, and because gyutaro’s blood demon art majorly revolves around poison, I would say all hashiras except gyomei and sanemi would die.

That's a post hashira training Sanemi, hashira training was a big boost, Kokushibo also didn't take any of them seriously at that point Tengen is canonically faster and stronger than Sanemi but struggled to keep up with Gyutaro, Sanemi gets outpaced (not speed blizted but out paced) and it only takes 1 hit with Gyutaros poison to kill Sanemi in a couple of minutes Also I dunno where your getting your facts from, fanbooks directly confirm tengen is the second strongest and the fastest, not Sanemi

Tengen is underated, he's not weak at all, fastest Hashira and second in physical strength, highest battle IQ because he is a former shinobi, even Rengoku admired Tengen's swordsmanship, he fought Gyutaro without mark, other Hashira would have died by a single scratch by Gyutaro, because of poison and they don't have poison resistant, Gyutaro poison is so strong

i am seeing so many comments dismissing tengen and so many others glasing him so here is what I think about him. (EVERYTHING IN BASE AT THE TIME OF THE ARC) Fist of all, the stats from the data books. The speed ranking cant be taken seriously (just see the reasons why for example mitsuri didnt run as fast), shinobu has amazing feats of speed sppedblitzing douma (douma cant get "serious" so he's very consistent with his performance) and mitsuri is stated to be faster doing techniques HOWEVER, when describing mitsuri the author uses the expression "even faster than tengen" wich implies that tengen is very much up there in terms of speed. Now with the strenght ranking, this is absolutely legit, its an arm wrestling ranking so not a lot to cover there. Now, with the comparason with other hashira and demons. Muichiro was being neg diff before he awaikaned the mark, gyoko is um 5 so it should be stronger (at least in theory because we didnt see a lot from him to be honest so it coud be argued to be slower or to be higher because of hax or smt, but to be clear MUZAN NEVER SAID THAT GYUTARO WOULD RANK HIGER WITHOUT DAKI, JUST THAT HE WOULD PERFORM BETTER IF SHE WASNT THERE BECAUSE HES OBSESED WITH PROTECTING HER) but I dont see him doing much better with gyutaro. Rengoku was shown to be very strong but akaza wast trying, he was slopy on porpuse,he lost his limbs and other parts of his body just to regenerate and flex, you cant tell me that the akaza that fought rengoku was the same akaza that fought tanjiro an giyu WITH MARK. Also, using this two examples we can really see how much of a diference there is when a hashira unlocks the slayer mark. And to finish this. Tengen's venom resistance made the diference here and so many people dont see it. When fighting muzan all hashiras where at the verge of death after 20 min or so, muzan's venom is obv much stronger than gyutaro's but that also was with hashiras that have the mark. Let's just say that gyutaos venom would make a hashira die in like two hours or so, tengen was fighting all night being continuosly nerfed and still managed to make a comback rivaling gyutaro in speed and strengh thanks to his music sheet. I dont think a lot of hashiras could just stay alive long enough to kill gyutaro and daki at the same time. Gyomey could probably do it by not getting hit or by overwelming both of them (he's him) and shinobu with the right poison her speed and a bit of luck could survive (wisteria poison is just so broken tbh). and for the ones who say tengen won with 7 people helping, B R O tengen saved tangiro idk like three or four times and inosuke, zenitsu and nezuko delt with daki who wan negdiff by tengen, also tenguen was paying attencion to save other civilians and his wifes (who helped him with the poison and not a lot more) and also only muichiro and zenitsu managed to kill an um alone (muichiro was "saved" by the kid and had the mark and the guy that zenitsu killed was stated by the author to be stronger that daki but weaker than gyutaro) //sorry for typos and stuff english is not my first language//

People often don't understand something, higher rank demons do not automatically have better stats in everything. For example, Hantengu's combat speed is the absolute worst amongst the upper moons, whereas Gyutaro's is top 3. Gyutaro is also far more relentless in his attacks, never allowing for breaks (unlike Akaza and Douma). Gyutaro is also one of the fastest in attack speed

TBH, Tengen is the only hashira capable of withstanding Gyutaro's poison, other hashira would die. If Gyutaro manages to give other hashiras just a tinee-tiny bit of scratch, they're done. So in conclusion, if any hashira except for Tengen we're to sent at the Entertainment District it would be a feast for the Upper Moon 6.

Might controversial but I think tengen was perfect for fighting gyutaro and that other hashiras would have a harder time with exception to Gyomei. Tengen had a resistance and to poison due to his past as a ninja. Gyutaro’s poison could take almost any hashira down. Ideally, all he has to do is slash his opponent and just wait.

He's number 3 in travel speed and in reaction speeds its arguable Tengen is on equal grounds. As for attack speeds Tengen is actually confirmed faster than all the hashira excluding Mitsuri. Overall Tengen is faster than Gyomei but not by much and Tengen considered Gyutaro fast. If Tengens is having trouble, so is Gyomei.
