I was talking about this with a friend a few days ago. One of the big ideas we had was that all the main characters would end up with legends like a normal game. Instead of dragonite it would be tornadus as Aang being most proficient with air.

I love this idea! Dragonite is still a powerful pokemon, but having a legendary in their strongest element is a really fun thought.

Instead of having access to Any Pokémon, I would have liked if you did this for each generation / region. Restrictions make for interesting challenges. And then at the end, pick a team built from all the previous teams.

That’s a fun idea! That could make for a fun video. Aang’s Pokemon team in every region. I’d probably not really explain the choices as much, because if I did it would be a crazy long video. But that does sound fun!

I like most of your picks Emolga i could see as his starter Prinplup i also like As far as the grass i agree with you Torterra was an excellent choice i could definitely can See aang using him Fire i am swapping it out with Talonflame because it is another flying representation and its hidden ability is gale wings which is All Flying-type moves have their Speed Priority increased by 1 which is beneficial for aang. Another swap is Eevee for Vaporeon because i feel that besides air his native element i think his best is water and it was almost second nature to him. It was easier for him to learn water than earth and fire he struggled with those air and water was his best elements in my opinion so that's why i would add a second water And Dragonite sure i like your reasoning behind it so i would roll with it.

Loved your thoughts here! Your talonflame point is really good. I didn’t think about the gale wings ability. I didn’t really consider talonflame for aang because I had him as a lock for one of Sokka’s pokemon. Representing “Hawky”with talonflame just felt too perfect 😂

@GaangGangavatar thank you. i liked a lot of your picks as well. I could definitely see sokka having Talonflame as well. Nothing says both Sokka and Aang can't have Talonflame lol. I can't wait for the others.

I think Aang would have a Hitmonlee because its my favorite Pokemon. I think that its a good idea and that I-a stand by it.

I disagree with you entirely. First, picking a pokemon just because it's your favorite is not a valid argument. Lastly, I don't think Aang would have any fighting type because he is a pacifist at heart. Aang wouldn't fight unless he absolutely has to, and it would be for self-defense or in defense for another. I would say Hitmanlee would be better suited for Toph, not Aang. Toph has no problem of fighting. Aang would be trying to solve whatever conflict at hand peacefully before resorting to fighting.
