@@redbeard3606 Lol, Ace is strong, atleast stronger than Jimbei (As stated by Jmbei himself). Shanks comments how his conquerer's haki is like fire that it could even melt snow; And this was Ace just strolling in into the island Shanks was on. He learned armament haki on the fly while fighting a vice admiral. He lost 3 times as a pirate, against Whitebeard, Blackbeard and Akainu; All of them one of the strongest in OP.

Well if Blackbeard captured Ace, Luffy, and his crew and turned them into the Marines, I think the Marines have to execute Ace still, but if they were smart they'd toss Luffy into Level 6 Impel Down and never even mention his capture. Executing both Luffy and Ace publicly would potentially bring Whitebeard, Shanks, and Dragon all down on Marineford at once, and Sengoku isn't foolish enough to try that. Which means that Luffy is in Impel Down locked up when Ace is taken away along with Jinbe and Crocodile, and his crew is likely higher up in the levels. Now the question to ask is, without Luffy causing the riot does Blackbeard's attempt to break into Impel Down succeed since Shiryu was released to help stop the riot, so he wouldn't be there to be given the antidote. Assuming that Magellan is on duty since usually he's on the toilet. If we assume Blackbeard at least gets to Level 6 and does his whole release of the prisoners, then Luffy can escape with Crocodile, Jinbe, the rest of the Straw Hats, but likely not Ivankov. Granted Luffy never went to Skypeia, Water 7, or Enies Lobby, never encountered CP9 to learn about the 6 Powers and develop his gears. Boa also never fell in love with him and probably spurned the Marine's summons and is not at Marineford. Alternatively Kuma as a Warlord might learn that Luffy was captured by Blackbeard and relay that to Dragon, who would then come to rescue his son and pick up Ivankov, in which case Sabo might meet up with both Ace and Luffy. Interesting thoughts.

He had slight flashbacks and almost got his memory back when some revolutionaries were talking about this new pirate "fire fist ace" so yea seeing luffy and ace would bring back his memories. But even if it didnt luffy and ace would recognize sabo.

Another interesting thought is what levels the crew would be sent to. Chopper, Nami, and Usopp would likely be kept on lvl 2 (if Mr. 3 qualifies so do they) and have to face the weird beasts. It'd be funny if the other inmates thought Chopper was one of them too. Zoro and Sanji on the other hand might be sent to lvl 3 or 4. Level 3 is the Starvation level which would be horrible for Sanji, and might push him to his utmost limits. If Zoro were to be sent to lvl 4, he'd see Daz Bones again, which could set up some interesting interactions. Kinda like Kid and Luffy at Udon in Wano. Robin on the other hand, would definitely be at lvl 6, and likely set for execution just like Ace. We'd get a sneak peak at Jinbei but the main focus would be Ace and Crocodile since they're both there. At this point in the story though, I don't think Luffy is worthy of lvl 6 but lvl 5 instead. There he would meet up with Bon Clay again and reach the okama paradise. And *then* the breakout would begin

So basically, Marineford war would be even crazier and Marines would have most likely lost, but they would probably use the help of the government and use CP 9 and CP 0 in the battle. The fight would be intense and I don't see Ace dying in that mashup, cuz Akainu would most likely be focusing on Dragon.

Personally, I like how the fanfic Twelve Red Lines handled it. Ace stayed with the crew, called in more Whitebeards, and then they and the Straw Hats took on Blackbeard and his crew on Jaya. It was epic.

same! personally i liked it especially when crocodile talked bad about whitebeard to ace, leading to ace being the one to defeat crocodile instead. it sets up the reveal that ace is stronger than crocodile (stronger / even considered to be nominated for the warlord position), is consistent to both of their personalities (ace not being one to back down from a taunt from marineford later / crocodile and what his problem is with whitebeard), and early introductions of the haki / devil fruit system (especially for situations when two logias clash)

Just saying that Scorpion had a decent (if still useless) idea IF he could land a hit, since Ace can't turn to fire to dodge it or take it full on without haki, which scorpion might not know about. However you don't become a commander of a yonko by chance, so landing even one hit wasn't happening.

Luffy wouldn't stand a chance against an opponent even Ace couldn't beat so early in the story. It would just result in a Clusterfuck version of Marineford with Marines vs Whitebeard + Shanks + Revolutionaries to save Luffy and Ace

There is a chance they could at least escape, Blackbeard does mention it was a close fight so he very well could be in a weakened state during the fight. And as Luffy's Crew outnumbers Blackbeards these factors could give just enough of an advantage to grab Ace and retreat.

@@antman1001000 He was never beating Blackbeard. 1 hit almost broke his neck. Secondly the Yami Yami fruit made Ace df power useless. Darkness can absorb flames. Blackbeard made that clear. He also couldn't avoid him because Blackbeard can pull you towards him. Shanks is the only one who doesn't sleep on Blackbeard. He knows just how dangerous he really is

You are assuming blackbeard is the same strength in Jaya as he was after enies lobby. I highly doubt that since Ace thinks he's a weakling when they do meet. Ace on the other hand is shown to already have mastery of his fruit and he just looks for blackbeard and sleeps barely growing in strength during that timeframe. Teach surely grows in strength especially with his fruit considering it's the most difficult fruit to use effectively. I'd guess the crew with ace vs blackbeard, who is shown to be alone when meeting luffy and co., would be a wipeout no way Teach wins without the time to master his fruit and gain strength especially considering ,to reiterate, he's implied to be quite weak compared to ace at the time of his defection.

I got an idea for a WHAT IF video I'd love to see you tackle: WHAT IF: The Blackbeard Pirates followed the Straw Hats to Skypiea (assuming they went up on a 2nd Knockup Stream later OR found out about the Summit of High West method)? Would we get an earlier Marineford, but one with Luffy, Zoro, and Robin to be executed instead of Ace? One where the remainder of the Straw Hat Crew would team-up with Ace and the Whitebeard Pirates to rescue them? Maybe said Marineford Arc could be preceded by something of a modified Impel Down Arc too.

Could fast track the downfall of the world government, I really don't think the marines would win. The impel down arc would be interesting. The only way I could see it not braking the story is if luffy, zoro, and robin brake out with the help of ivonkov, there's also a debate on whether jimbe would disobey the government

Personally, I think that the interaction between Crocodile and Luffy would be quite different. This is what I think would happen: They are riding away on the giant crab, luffy gets grabbed and pulled to Crocodile, and Ace goes after him, telling the others to continue on. Luffy and Crocodile would talk a little, and Ace would show up. Ace would probably know about Crocodile as a person because of his relation with Whitebeard and because Crocodile is one of the seven warlords, and Crocodile would know about Ace since he is the 2nd division commander of the Whitebeard Pirates. They would have a short chat, and Luffy would probably just try and fight Crocodile after getting bored of listening to them talk. Luffy tries to fight, but notices that he can't do anything, and that the fight is going similar to that of him vs Smoker. Luffy gets repelled and Ace steps in. Ace and Crocodile fight a little, with Ace pushing Crocodile back in a battle between fire and sand, with fire turning the sand into glass and being an overall stronger force. Crocodile leaves, with him claiming that he is a 'busy man' as his reason. Luffy would remark on how he couldn't do anything, and that it was the same when he tried to fight Smoker. Ace wouldn't flat out say what Luffy needs to do, but would tell him to remember the fights between Ace and Smoker, and Ace and Crocodile, pointing to how their powers interacted. Luffy would likely figure out Crocodile's weakness anyways. In Alubarna, it would proceed almost the exact same, with the only differences being that Ace would likely just try to help stop the fighting between the masses, and would eventually search for the bomb when they all get notified of it's existence. For further elaboration, I don't think that Ace would just stand by and let Luffy, a new pirate, fight one of the seven warlords of the sea without atleast being there as a precaution at the very least. The Zoro vs Mihawk fight was completely different, as Mihawk was someone that Zoro has strived to fight and defeat, and is his main motivation. It was a 1v1 duel between swordsman, and an extremely important one at that.

Dvorak's New World Symphony: 4th Movement is the name of the song that plays during the Luffy vs Crocodile fight.... As for Ace vs Teach, I'd lean more into Aces favor then the canon fight.... Blackbeard had only had his fruit for a very short while here(the theft happened only after Luffy got his original bounty iirc since there is a panel where Whitebeard explains how Ace showed him Luffy's bounty) every day probably counted at this point as Blackbeard tested the limits of his new powers.... Sure he had records of the past fruit users and probably ideas how to use it, but that doesn't mean he had experience using it. Just like in Marineford when he got the Gura Gura no Mi, he had the knowledge by watching the Old Man use it thousands of times but that doesn't mean he could use it expertly. The other thing is, originally when Ace tracked down Teach, he told Ace he was going after Luffy's bounty so he could become a warlord, which probably prompted Ace to fight more recklessly. On account of having to stop Teach from going after Luffy. These two points lead me to believe Teach would not win here, though he might not lose either. Since the stakes are lower at this point if Teach attempted to escape Ace might just let him thinking he can catch up to him later, especially if Teach managed to hurt Luffy(either by accident, or by design) prior to or during his escape. This would set up a much uglier second fight since Ace would be going in with both eyes open and even more of a chip on his shoulder.

the part where ace detonates the bomb, is also a part where if pell should've died, ace should've died aswell. (unless ace was awakened?) with natural gass fires being set out by detonating bombs to take away the oxygen, i'd argue that ace being a logia does not help here. unless ofcourse when ace would've been awakened and able to control not only his flames but also the flames around him - allowing him to control the explosion.

I think Ace and Crocodile would've had that sort of chat while Ace was trapped in the cage and Crocodile feeling superior and even bragging about how once he gets what he's after in Alabasta, he is planning on visiting Whitebeard, but Ace is just as confident that he isn't going to get that far. It would foreshadow their future skirmish in the castle; his faith in Luffy and Whitebeard.

Thoughts. 1. The part discussing a scenario where Luffy died to Crocodile got my mind churning out possibilities for how Ace would go about the resulting rampage. An earlier introduction to Haki. Ace rediscovering his inner "Conqueror" as a by-product of his rage. Turning Crocodile into a glass statue before shattering it. Turning only part into glass while leaving enough for Crocodile to watch as Ace reaches into his chest, pulls out his devil fruit, and stares him in the eyes before the killing blow. Yeah, Crocodile dodged quite the bullet when comparing that to what really happened. 2. Wow. I DEFINITELY wasn't expecting the video to turn into a 2-part event. DANG! Well, I guess I've got another video to watch in the near future discussing how this fight could go. As for how I think it happens, I honestly couldn't say.

I had a similar idea towards the Jara part of this video. Since no everyone went to the bar and met Blackbeard, why not have Ace stay back on the ship for the moment while the Straw Hats do their business in town. You could even write it off as giving Ace time to think about how to track down Blackbeard, and would make plans to leave to continue his search. But once the Straw Hats retuned from town he would hear about Luffy's encounter with a strange guy that likes pies. Since Blackbeard isn't Infront of him at the moment, Ace could be more level headed and considered the fact that his fight would probably draw in Luffy and his crew before they could handle something like that. So for the moment Ace would hold himself back until the last moment. Things would play out like normal until just before The Straw Hats at launched into the sky, as there was that brief moment when Blackbeard had tried to capture Luffy for his plans to become a Warlord. But it would be at that time when Ace would step forward to confront Blackbeard out at sea on his boat. Almost immediately afterwards the Marry would be launched into the sky to separate Ace from the Straw Hats, and would allow him to fight Blackbeard alone. I thought this scenario would be more fateful to the cannon of the story. It would also give the fight an interesting dynamic, as we do not often see sea battles in One Piece and this could be a good chance for that. With Ace on his fire powered speed boat and Blackbeard and his crew on there raft would also make it seem like Ace would have a clear advantage, but the tables could be turned quickly with Blackbeard's darkness powers. I am not 100% behind this idea because it was just a spirit of the moment thing, but it at least makes sense to me.🤔 Great video Tekking, i am sure it will be one of your beats!😁👍

Tekking you did a pretty good job summarizing what would Ace have done if he stayed with the Straw Hats during the whole duration of Alabasta, but I think he would have instead left after Jaya Arc. Pretty much after the Scorpion thing ended up being a lie, Ace deciding to stay with Luffy and his friends and also helping Vivi out against Baroque Works until he finds a new lead to Blackbeard whereabouts.(which would fit with his character who also previously wished to help Tama&Yamato knowing full well that Alabasta could become another Wano with Crocodile as it's ruler.) With Ace taking the tvtropes role of Guest-Star Party Member&A Taste of Power keeping Luffy&his friends safe while they essentially fight a Warlord's crew, with him stopping the bomb from destroying Alubarna. After Alabasta arc, we are shown that Ace starts feeling comfortable/less worried knowing that Luffy&his friends can take of themselves (after beating a Warlord) and that his brother is in good hands with his crew, especially with Robin being knowledgeable of the Pirate World will keep them somewhat safe from harm/danger. During Jaya arc when they arrived in Mocktown, Ace either finds out about Blackbeard recent whereabouts in Mocktown or catches a glimpse of him but Blackbeard ends up escaping from his grasp. After which Ace is once again reminded of his mission and that he has overstayed his time with the Strawhats and finally with them deciding Skypiea as their next destination being the final push, knowing he can't take anymore detours especially while Blackbeard trail is still fresh. He said his goobyes to the Strawhats and gives his vivre card to Luffy and parted ways in Mocktown. Finally catching up and confronting Blackbeard and losing to him in Banaro Island. Anyway Tekking, I'm curious on how you would instead handle Ace What If Post Timeskip: If Ace was instead alive after Marineford and helped the Strawhats during Wano Arc? As a Part 2 or 3. Would he have also decided to trained with Rayleigh&Luffy? Would he had reunited with the Strawhats during Dressrosa and finally have a brotherly reunion between the 3 brothers? Would Ace have consider like Jinbe on joining the Strawhats and helping Luffy become Pirate King or instead have some other motivation like avenging Whitebeard? And what kind of role Ace would have had in Wano?

If Ace joined the Straw Hats, they probably wouldn't have Robin. She didn't trust the Straw Hats to stand up for her before Enies Lobby, and Ace probably would not have trusted someone who had been working with Crocodile (especially with the history with Whitebeard) just joining his brother's crew. He probably would have thought it was a trap - especially with hunting down Blackbeard, who had betrayed Whitebeard's crew.

Short of just flat out telling him that it exists and how to use it, if Ace had mentioned that there was a Haki system and gave vague sorts of descriptions during either the end of Alabasta or start of Jaya, I feel like that would help a TON with the "haki comes out of nowhere" issue that some people take with the story.

The alabasta filler is actually one of the examples I like to point to about how One piece handles it right, where if you absolutely have to put it somewhere put it in a spot where it makes sense to have it don't just throw us into another narrative in the middle of a cannon arc (cough, Bleach, Cough) . I don't particluarly care for the sand pirates especially since Ace does'nt have alot to do in it but the other ones are fun plus I think they reveal Vivi's backstory with Koza during that stretch of filler too.

I am not a sound expert, but as far as i know, the problem with your mic Shure-SM7B is that it is a dynamic mic; meaning it sounds the best when it is directly on your mouth. But knowing how active you are maybe you can set the gain a bit higher and look for solutions to avoid sound clipping when you scream :D

I disagree that Ace would let Luffy fight his own battles, especially against someone as strong as Crocodile. He is very protective of his brother. He already took out the marines' ships during his introduction as well as fight Smoker for him. I don't think Smoker is stronger than Crocodile at that point. Also, at Marineford, the moment he was freed of the cuffs, he didn't let Luffy fight anyone on his own including the fodder Marines. Also, if Ace was at Jaya, they would have know he's commander of the 2nd division of white beard pirates and would have partied with him and Luffy, Zoro, Nami just like Buggy and his crew did.

I think there was a big missed opportunity in this part of this what if. Crocodile captured one of Whitebeard's commanders. I don't think he'd just leave him in that cage and walk away as though it were nothing. I mean, this is one of his greatest enemy's top subordinates, a yonko commander. He at least should be calling up Morgans to brag or planning to collect his bounty or something.

I don't think pirates can collect bounties from the marines, only normal people and bounty hunters can. Also if news got out that Crocodile captured Ace, wouldn't Whitebeard send Marco or another commander to rescue him?

Maybe bounties are just their way of trying to get Mihawk to do literally anything for them. Now that I think about it, have we ever seen anyone collect a bounty in the story?

Tekking, for part 2, remember that Lafitte wasn't even with the Blackbeard pirates in Mocktown, he went to the 7 Warlords meeting in Marigeoise to advertise Blackbeard; and he wasn't even back by the next day when straw hats sailed up the Knockup stream so it was only Blackbeard, Berges, Van Auger, Doc Q and Stronger chasing Straw hats in their little raft. He likely didn't come back until Dofflamingo himself came to Mocktown the next night to punish Bellamy's crew- they were in the same meeting after all.

Actually I think the concept of Haki was still present: Remember when Zoro used one-sword style the finisher on Mr.1? Lion song something... I think that instant that he cut Mr.1, Zoro used a taaaad little haki in there to cut through steel. Dontcha think Tekking? :)
