I think that the awakening of the Kage Kage no Mi is Moriah's "Shadow revolution" where he changed oars in to a ball, so basically, changing the form of his surroundings by manipulating the shadows. Imagine, the shadow of a big tower, Moriah could change the tower form in to a giant hammer, hand, sword.

I believe we have already potentially seen what Ace's awakening might be. Remember what happened in Drum Island? When luffy and the crew left Drum Island, and before Ace was revealed, he left a message for Luffy. One of the residents of Drum Island said that a stranger came into town. And for the entire day it didn't snow in that town alone.

I just can't see every Paramecia's Awakening working the same. I mean, Doffy and Katakuri both make substances, so they turn the environment into string/mochi. I just can't see Robin turning the ground into a sea of undulating flesh and/or a sea of grasping, clawing appendages. If you ask me, Robin's whole devil-thing we saw recently is probably her Awakening. The Hana Hana no Mi lets her sprout up parts of her own body in a radius around her. So, I think her Awakening is being able to make body parts she doesn't naturally possess. Like, for example, horns, wings, and fangs. I suppose alternatively she can make copies of other people and their body parts, so she could presumably clone Luffy or something, but I think the first one makes more sense.

The only problem with that theory is that kinda seems to be what Blackbeard's fruit is capable of doing, and that seems EXTREMELY op, and also kinda flies in the face of the whole "can't have more then one devil fruit" idea. That being said, it could still be a thing and it's not a bad idea. Maybe instead of devil fruit abilities, he steals their techniques? Or maybe gains all their memories?

And we really don't know how Blackbeard steals fruit powers, most people think it's his devil fruit, but if the answer was that simple it'd be sort of weird to still keep it a secret after 12 years. Either way Blackbeard's ability seems to involve having to kill the person first which makes it a lot more convoluted and he can't even transform into them. Really not that similar at all.

Unconventional ideas like a guy that manipulates friction and that he can bring down entire buildings with it if he concentrates enough are great.) Think about X-Men: Magneto can manipulate any metal. That doesn't make any sense though. He should be able to control Iron, Nickle and Cobalt. And maybe some forms of Tungsten and of course alloys like Steel. Nothing else. But that his ability is supposed to be _Ferro Magnetism_ is just glossed over.

The other day I was fantasizing about Caesar Clown joining Buggy pirates and developing a medication that'd force-awaken devil fruit powers so that all of Buggy high-ups would have awakened powers by the end. I imagine Alvida's Smooth Smooth fruit would basically be able to transfer smooth slipperiness to anything she touches (or even hits with her iron mace); such as if she smacks a person, she can cause them to not even able to stand up from their slipping. She can also touch the ground to make it slippery for her to skate more effectively while putting everyone else into a disadvantage where they can't walk on it properly. And if she channels much energy into it, I guess she can make a whole structure fall apart like breaking a castle from within by applying smoothness to it, causing all the adhesive materials, bricks and construction material to slip off and collapse, falling over and having no effect on her since things just slip off her. Mr. 3 Would be able to turn already existing material into wax rather than creating it, like if cannonballs were shot at him, he can turn them into wax from a certain distance and control it, or even turn the entire battlefield into wax. I imagine Buggy would have the abilities of splitting people and objects apart like Law's shambles but he might be needing to touch them or be close to them. I imagine he'd have more control over multiple slices at the same time but overall be similar to Law's slicing without the need to actually slice. And Caesar himself, I really don't know, he's also in that weird "is he already awakened" category for me as he has shown to be able to alter the composition of gasses in the environment beyond simply turning himself to gas.

If Buggy awakened the bara bara I wonder if the limitations of the fruit would increase if somebody with conquerors haki possessed the powers. In addition to splitting other people with a touch. Which of these options would be better? 1) he change the origin point of the fruits anchor (normally his feet). So his head could be the new origin or he could now use the air walk ability of Sanji but he has to rotate his feet like a helicopter. 2) he can expand the range of the bara bara to encompass a whole island.

Here's my idea. Buggy will be able to split other things he touches other than himself. Remember when Buggy acted like the Buggy Ball was a big deal? If Buggy can chop an atom he can create a nuclear explosion. And the Buggy Ball WILL be a big deal by EOS

And since he would be able to split something by touching it and reassembling it in whatever way he desires instead of just himself like it is right now.. The “split” will create crevasses, that his power could extend through, to transfer the ability for almost as far as he’d want once he Masters Awakening. For example, he could touch the ground, use his Awakening, and he would have control of separating the ground below just him, also any objects in his range as sending a surge signal of separation up to a point, before Activating the actual physical separation taking place; to let’s say up to any direction 100 meters from his Focal Point. He essentially has Whitebeard’s Fruit but instead of it affecting the Seas and Airwaves.. Buggy’s Awakening affects any physical object whether it is organic or inorganic. If this is how Oda goes with it I can see a huge additional reason as to why Buggy is Oda’s favorite character.

After all, essentially what it does is not just produce a deadly venom, but one that makes the things it touches also similarly deadly venomous. Okay, this is insane and will never happen, but I have an idea for a Gomu Gomu awakening. Gear 5: Dodgeball Man. Luffy creates a ball of rubber that basically acts as an extension of himself, so he can coat it in Haki and shit. The more the ball ricochets around, the more speed and power it builds up until it eventually hits the target. Luffy uses this in tandem with his future sight to overwhelm his enemies with punches and kicks as well as the dodgeball

Shiki the Golden Lion has the closest ability to Telekinesis in the One Piece Verse and it is beyond OP. Telekinesis is literally the best super power with unlimited applications if you know how to use it properly. The bad ass movie “Chronicle” comes to mind 😸 And yes Dimensional Doorway abilities are S-Tier as well. It just depends on how creative the User is and how much they can pre-anticipate set ups to catch an enemy off guard. Or if you want to be an a-hole you could push someone through a designated Dimensional Doorway, close the entrance/exit, and leave them there. That’s what happens behind David Paulides Missing 411 Investigations that happen IRL (mostly at National Parks but other areas with high paranormal activity and unexplained circumstances of people disappearances).

I feel like the awakening for the clone clone fruit would be similiar to Toga's quirk awakening where in Toga can use the quirks of those she becomes. Bon Clay would be able to use the devil fruit of those he copies, albiet at a weaker level. I'd also say he'd be able to use the person's haki techniques, but either super weak versions or the stamina cost is super high.

i feel like there's a decent chance that both crocodile and perona are awakened users. we know that awakened logia users start to actually affect the climate and crocoboy would obviosly make sand, well, if you ripped the moisture out of things, they would turn into sand. as for the rule that only th one hand can do it, he's missing a hand, maybe prosthesis don't count. as for perona, she can fly now. what if her awakening is actually becoming ghost-like instead of just summoning them? we never actually saw her touch anything, but maybe she can go intangible or depress people like her hollows

funny how most people forget how strong Magellan is, there were 2 Shichibukai there and (as far as I remember) they couldn't do anything against him, plus he one shot the whole Blackbeard's crew (including Blackbeard himself, the same one who easily beat Ace long before he impel down, i.e. he should be even stronger), he undoubtedly has an awakened Df, he's too powerful to not have one (same with the Yonkous, and the admirals, they're all too strong and have their fruits too long to not have awakened them)

These are my contributions to potential fruit awakenings: Bon Clay's Clone-Clone Fruit: In awakening, user can clone not only appearance but the abilities of any person whose face they have touched. Foxy's Noro-Noro no mi: Makes himself move so slow that he ends up travelling forwards in time (limitation is that it is an irreversible trip and he gets stuck in the same geographical location during the time travel) Gem's Bomb-Bomb fruit: Make someone else into a bomb (this is an insta-kill move on normal foes not protected by insane amounts of Haki) The invisibility fruit: Makes a foe temporarily blind (instead of making user invisible so the opponent can't see, now it just makes it that the opponent flat out can't see). This would be devastating in any battle (unless you're fighting a blind dude) Daz Bone's sups-supa no mi: Allows user to create a blade out of anything (imagine suddenly being able to turn the air into a blade) Tsuru's fruit: Awakened version is known as "Whitewash" which is to fully erase ALL memories of a person, rendering them as babies. Foes wouldn't even remember how to stand up and walk, let alone talk or fight. Even logias would become vulnerable because they wouldn't know how to control their fruit and thus can't turn intangible.

For the door-door fruit, I can think of something. I had an idea about a devil fruit a long time ago which is kind of similar to Pudding's power. The idea I had was that you pull a scroll out of someone's body and it has his "information". You can then erase anything you want and write something else, changing things about them. For example, eye colour, height, even personality traits and who knows, perhaps devil fruit powers too. Pudding can do something similar with memories, so you could make the door-door fruit do the same but instead of memories you open a door in someone, pull out a parchment and look at information about them which you can then change.

i recently thought of an idea for the calm calm fruit, where it plays off of the "if a tree falls and nobody hears, did it really fall?" thing. basically, the user has the potential to neutralize an attack completely by removing the sound, there could be some caveat to the ability relating to the tree concept or something similar, i just think its an interesting idea

Amazing theory! It actually turned out to be true in how Law was able to cut off Big Mom from using her Soul-Soul Fruit Ability with her homies in the manga not too long ago. Essentially because Law created a Room based off of Corazon’s Calm Calm Fruit Ability.. Since Big Mom’s Homies couldn’t hear her call for help.. Her ability didn’t work at all and she was fucked up by him and Kidd. Way to go! :D

The awakening of the clone clone fruit can mean that when Bon Clay punches someone, it is same as touching them so he can transform into them after that. If his opponent has a zoan awakening, technically he can transform into them and attain their strength and endurance.

I personally feel like the Shadow Shadow fruit, Gas Gas fruit, and Soul Soul fruit are all super similar in their applications and uses. They get basically unlimited control over their element for both themselves and others in base form. And with the recent reveal of Big Moms awakening where she used her own soul to give herself a power up and become Bigger Mom, I assume that is a basic setup for the other awakenings. So, when Ceasar and Moria consumed their own elements (gas and shadows respectively) they were awakened by using that power up.

I feel like the awakening of the kaga kaga no mi would be to turn the environtment into shadows similar to doflamingo and katakuri. We saw Moria use his shadow to physically harm other people. That would make his fruit pretty strong. Especially when you consider the zombie bodies can be destroyed and the rampup time it takes to make them.

Missed opportunity when you were talking about the possibilities of the jacket fruit awakening and used the example of turning a brick house into a jacket and putting it on. (Singing) "Well, he's a brick . . . house!" With the Bara Bara no Mi, I do feel like the user could separate things other than themselves into pieces, but I don't think it would go as far as Shambles. Remember that Shambles involves teleportation with items switching places. I think Buggy could separate and control the pieces of anything in the area of effect, but I don't think he'd have the ability to instantly make things swap places; he'd have to consciously move each piece into the other's place to duplicate that effect. For the Mane Mane no Mi, what if the awakening gave him the ability to change the appearance or take on the appearance of inanimate objects? Let's say he works with the Revolutionary Army and someone comes looking for their headquarters, he could use the awakening to disguise the headquarters as a simple hill or mountain. Or, if someone is looking for him and aware of his ability to turn into other people, then this awakening could let him disguise himself as something other than a person, like he could turn into a wagon or a wheelbarrow. The Doa Doa no Mi is already broken! I mean, his is one of the few Paramecia that is already able to affect other living things and even other PEOPLE in its regular state! Remember him turning Luffy's head into a revolving door? Because the regular state of his fruit is already so powerful, I figured that his awakening would not only allow him to create doors on a larger scale, but maybe grant him the inverse power so he could seal doors that already exist (he seals the door into your kitchen so it's now just a wall and you can't get in there any more). With Magellan, the only other thing I could think of would be to generate poison outside of his body (from walls, floors, ceiling, etc.) rather than having to do so within himself. Not quite turning the surroundings INTO poison as you suggested, but rather making poison ooze from everything. With Hancock's fruit, I think it's possible that her awakening could affect people based on emotions other than lust. "Oh, this person must not be attracted to me since he didn't turn to stone. He sure is cocky about it though. I'll use a confidence beam instead!" I've always found it odd that Akainu's fruit is considered the superior version of the Mera Mera no Mi. Aokiji's fruit is the perfect example of why this feels wrong. Snow/ice is certainly cold, but it's not the coldest thing possible. Cold itself can go far beyond what snow/ice demonstrates. In the same vein, yes, magma is extremely hot, but fire is not limited to a certain temperature, and certainly not limited to the temperature of magma. If you really think about it, what is fire really? It is just heat that is extreme enough to consume the object it's on. Depending on the conditions and fuel, fire can ABSOLUTELY burn FAR hotter than magma! Sakazuki might have convinced HIMSELF that he has the strongest heat-based Devil Fruit, but I say that's a bunch of BS. Just like a fruit that embodies cold itself outdoes a fruit that embodies snow/ice, a fruit that embodies heat/fire itself outdoes a fruit that embodies magma. The only reason Akainu was able to kill Ace is because of superior Armament Haki; his fruit and its relative power to Ace's fruit has absolutely NOTHING to do with it!

Other ideas: Alvida: She can take the footing out of anyone, making them slip, and sapping the force of their attacks. She could make a ship or building fall apart, because of the nails slipping out. And on the flipside, she could add traction to amplify her own damage output, or burn a mechanism out from sheer friction. Very Good: Physical objects can fly apart as balls, and he can then reconstruct them as he pleases. He can even mold and shape them, like bead putty. Foxy: Instead of a beam, he instead radiates slowing energy in a radius around himself--almost like Conquering King Haki. I always thought an interesting application of the clone clone fruit could be changing the environment. So like you can now copy and shift the environment to give you the advantage. Like say you’re fighting pica in a stone city. With an awakened clone fruit you could change the environment to a jungle to replace the city to take away his advantage or use the new jungle terrain for maneuvering and cover. Or another example is hindering the opponent by summoning hazardous terrains like punk hazard or the lightning island

Interesting idea for the jacket fruit. However I have another idea. I always thought the jacket fruit could be almost the most power fruit. What if you permanently absorb the person who puts you on? I imagine you would be able to absorb all strengths, weakness, and abilities of that person. I would compare it to Cell from DBZ or Amazo from DC comics. This way you are continually getting stronger and potentially weaker depending on that persons weaknesses. What if let’s say you convinced Whitebeard to put on the jacket and now you had his devil fruit power permanently.

Not so immediate use: She could destroy fucking any construct by merely touching it. Just assigning the slipperiness to a building's components and the shearing forces applied to the parts by simple standing would already make it break apart. Screws just slip out. Steel beams and concrete parting. It would be terrifying. (And yes, I blatantly stole the concept from Seike Taroumaru's Friction Fluctuation (A certain Scientific Railgun), but it works the same even if Alvida wouldn't be able to increase the Friction Coefficient of anything of course.)

Hey tekking I know you said laws fruit is the exception to the way devil fruit awakenings work but I think it’s quite the opposite, while it is true his attack does affect the inside of the opponent’s body the actual devil fruit ability is the user being able to open operating rooms around themselves but his kroom ability lets him open the room around opjects and things other than himself .
