Ok, adizz I'm going to say this: We could technically defeat aliens just in the US by wearing them down and making their invasion of the earth just not worth it economic wise. Remember, our closest star is 4 light years away, so even if they could travel at the speed of light, it would still take a long time for reinforcements. Still a good scenario!

I think that is the biggest problem when it comes to aliens actually invading us. Regardless of how advanced they are they cannot go faster than the speed of light, and they probably don't even come close to it. And they're most likely a lot further than 4 light years away, so realistically if aliens wanted to invade us they would have to travel for thousands if not tens of thousands of years, and at that point they would probably be asking themselves if it's even worth it, since they would have to send entire generations on the trip just to make it alive to earth.

@@astral6060 Okay, it 90% is strategy so let me look at this, so I am gonna assume the aliens will have at worst case Giant force shields, and huge guns, and yeah maybe the US may not be able to handle it, but I must look at this scenario as a normal war with just a huge tech gap. So the speed of light is fast, but not that fast, when they send their first fleet, it will take awhile for them to get here, and they will have to wait to send the next fleet giving us some time to prepare. Now I will see how humans might win. I’m the beginning now I think he picked the US because that’s where most alien sightings are, but your forgetting the UK and the Netherlands If they landed in the US it will most likely be in western parts like New Mexico and Arizona so Obviously the aliens will have the starting advantage because of tech and the surprise, the US is a power but it doesn’t mean the aliens won’t beat them, the US does have allot of power though which may damage the aliens economically, the US will fall but the aliens will have to withdrawal some troops. Canada and Mexico Will be fighting on both sides with other troops from the rest of the world, eventually Canada or Mexico will fall, and I think Mexico will first because the aliens will then be able to knock out all the small North American country’s, and the aliens can now focus on Canada but by now, the aliens have exhausted a lot of power and if the alien’s gear works on power the strategy will be to knock out power in areas and aim for power supplies. Now I will go with they don’t run on power so I can continue with my version. The Aliens will cross the canal and move into South America where lots of chaos will happen and it may fall, but while that’s happening Russia can send forces through the artic, and it’s risky but they have to create a new front and I say nukes are not being used yet, but now the aliens knock out South America and now take Iceland and Greenland. The aliens land in either Norway or the UK but because more alien sightings are in the UK then Norway the Aliens may know more about the UK and attack them first. They land in Scotland and push and now nukes are being used on core city’s as the news declares the end of the world and soon the aliens have exhausted all this power and weapons and they need a huge offensive to make most of Europe surrender and in South Africa a huge offensive is made to knock out Africa and then they can go through Europe but while the offensive happens Africa calls for help and so the Russian Arctic Ocean offensive happens and landing in South America causing the Aliens with low manpower and four front withdrawing.
