HOI4 MP or HOI4 Multiplayer is made much better by TURNING HOI4 INTO A BATTLE ROYALE. HOI4 Germany and more all have to duke it out with this HOI4 Mod made by Lunu that makes all hoi4 nations at war with each other. It also gives cores on everything because I'm a big fan of chaos. Keep an eye on the smaller nations here, they'll be the ones to tip the scales...

I just wanted to add the Italian player couldn't move the starting troops from Ethiopia because they were at war with the UK, Which at the start owned Gibraltar and the Suez preventing them from going home.

@@ovrsurge4689 that isn’t the case, but even if it were, Ethiopia isn’t cored by Italy until after its capitulated and the proper focus is taken. Those divisions were better off staying and fighting. However they should have simply marched through Egypt and taken the Suez.

I'm thinking that you're gonna want as much land with as few borders as possible. USA comes to mind, but everyone and their momma is going to see this and gang up on them. Japan is also in the same boat, except they're an island and very few nations have a starting navy good enough to contest them. And no one is going to prioritize a navy in a free for all like this, so Japan should be safe. Add in Oceania that's going to be poorly defending since the colonial powers will be focusing on their mainlands... The UK is in a similar position to Japan, except they're closer to a lot of the major powers and have too much overseas territory to adequately defend on day 1, so I'd say Japan is the favorite here

France, may actually be one of the best, as they start with one of the largest armies in the game. Soviet Union has the largest, but has so many borders. I think France is the best as you can immediately defend your borders, and then you could attack Spain and Portugal, due to their isolated position. In terms of colonies, just leave them. Maybe defend north africa, as its not that many tiles, but its optional.
