A few things. They would be grafts like his cybernetic and if it's anything like Legends, channeling the dark side would rapidly degrade them and they would need to he constantly replace. Secondly, he would still mostly look the same but just be more comfortable in his suit. He still needs it to breathe.

This is... actually a very bad scenario if you actually think about it. Don't get me wrong, the what-if is good. But it doesn't end well for any of the involved parties. Palpatine would know, Vader would likely be killed on the spot for failing to prove his devotion to the Dark Side, and the kids would be hunted down and killed... or worse.

Yes, Anakin was overpowered, but in this story it only makes sense, to not make him overpowered would have been to ignore his backstory. Yes his backstory was slightly altered, he was not born as someone's property and he was not 9 when he started his training, but those things hindered his growth. One of the biggest things in his backstory is him being born of the will of the Force, so Anakin raised from birth as a Jedi would be an absolute beast. He didn't have many of the things that held him back, so this story brilliantly demonstrates why the Jedi have issues with attachment compared to canon. In canon Anakin was born as property, had an attachment with his mother, was removed from her and developed an attachment to Padme, he also had an attachment with Qui-gon. He was removed from his mother, his first father figure was either Watto, his owner, or Qui-gon, so either way that would cause a lot of issues, if you want to say Qui-gon was his first real father figure, well in canon he died early on, so that would mess up any kid under those circumstances. Additionally having been separated from his mother his mind would not have been as focused, the last he knew his mother was still Watto's property so he would not have learned as fast because he had so many distractions, but in this story he was never Watto's property, Shmi was never property and she was safely with the Jedi order, he never fell in love with Padme, it seems like Mace was his first father figure, so to speak. In this story Anakin had a more stable and balanced childhood, so he would have thrived and Palpatine would not have had a much tougher time trying to corrupt and manipulate Anakin. Considering all of those changes from canon and the fact that he didn't lose any limbs, he would have been an absolute powerhouse, so I think you did a better job with this story than you may even realize. True we didn't get Ahsoka, Luke, or Leia, but we do get an idea what a focused and stable Anakin looks like, in canon we got an undisciplined, unfocused, emotionally damaged and unstable Anakin that was begging to be corrupted by the dark side. My only complaint here is that this story was a bit short, very well done, but it left me wanting more of this Anakin.

3. There's no light in Palpatine, he's the literal manifestation of the darkside.. You have to have some glimmer of light to feel that way towards another, that's why he couldn't allow Padme to live. He can can pretend to care, like he did towards Anakin through the years, but once he was brought to the darkside, we saw his true feelings immediately. If he were to care for anyone like a son, it would be Anakin... I mean, he and Plagueis ccreated him when manipulating the medichlorians through the force itself to create life, he watchef him his entire life... but still, he didn't care about him, only his power, potential, and the use to his grand plan. If he died, he'd only care that his plan deviated and he'd need Maul, atleast until he found another replacement.. So how could Maul ever matter or be viewed in such a way that Anakin wasn't?

An interested what if that honestly never crossed my mind. Anakin raised in the Temple would've been incredibly powerful. I mean in canon he came there at 9 and became a Jedi Knight only after 10 years of training at 19 and basically the only thing blocking him from advance wasn't his power but his mentality. So if he were raised in the Temple, he would've probably become a Knight even earlier. In canon during the High Republic era there's a Mirialan Jedi named Vernestra Rwoh who became Jedi Knight at 15 making her the youngest Jedi to become a Knight in a long time, meaning she wasn't the only one. Additionally, she took a Padawan at that age even though she basically inherited him from a fallen Jedi Master after she brought that boy back to the light. So I fully believe that Jedi Temple raised Anakin would've the power and mindset to become a Jedi Knight at that age.

Shmi would be a perfect Jedi and she and Anakin's relationship would be nice to explore. Anakin's whole childhood would have been different with Shmi being able to protect him properly.

What if Dooku decided to betray Sidious during the clone wars and started actually trying to win instead of just dragging things out? What if Vader, after dying in Luke's arms aboard the Death Star II, was "peggy sue'd" into the body of Anakin during one of Anakin's many "force weirdness" moments throughout the Clone Wars? (for reference, a "Peggy Sue" is when a character, after death, is brought back in time to the body of an earlier version of themselves, retaining the memories and sometimes the abilities of their older self.)

What if a 85 year old jedi master travels to a very remote part of the Republic and finds a youngling and decided to train her. Her master dies when she is only just turned 18 years of age so she returns to the jedi temple. So that she can return her masters lightsaber to the jedi and to complete her training as she promised her master. At this time she begins to befriend a troubled anakin skywalker who is being teased and bullied by the other jedi younglings and padawans. When anakin sneaks out of the jedi temple to watch the pod races she goes out of her way to be kind to anakin talking with him about his problems and offering advice and what wise Council she can. What can a friend like that do for anakin. Can she help anakin Stay in the light. Kind regards from Daniel Harman.
