What if anakin chokes obi wan instead of padme? This is a somthibg I think might affect the battle. One wan can’t force push bc padme, padme will be pleading anakin to stop or might try to attack anakin. Eather way the fight would be relatively the same but I think anakin would still need the suit but not new limbs

Actually there is an old law that a force user cannot be chancellor. Maybe not exactly that wording, but something along those lines. So while yes it isn't illegal to be a sith, it is illegal for palpatine to be in the position he is in.

Dooku was told by sidious "let anakin win, you'll be in jail and I'll release you when our empire is formed", if he was captured like this he would think everything is going according to plan and just wait in jail, he wouldn't turn on sidious that fast

Maybe, but not in this case because Palpatine directly ordered Anakin to kill him. That would cause Dooku to seriously doubt Palpatine's intentions, and including the fact that Dooku would have known about Maul, he could quite easily connect the dots and realise Palpatine was getting rid of him so Anakin could replace him.

Everybody writes this scenario the same dumb way damn near every time. I like Dooku alot, and would rather have him alive and in prison, than dead at by the hands of Sidious. The Count deserves better.

@@mountain_watcher_8730 He was so trusting of palpatine he likely would have just assumed it was mental manipulation anakin would have never acted on that was part of the plan for later, both sidious and dooku wanted to get rid of the rule of 2, dooku just didn't know sidious meant it as being the only sith for eternity, but he was always in on the turning anakin into a sith plan
