I can see an episode where Falinks split apart as the Brass joins Kirlia and the troops join Drizzile. The troops would miss their leader but Drizzile would help them to chill out more and be more calm and confidant. Brass would give Kirlia some encouragement, bestowing a Dawn Stone to unlock its Fighting spirit.

@@Doliwhop It's very cool how everyone is representing a Gen in some way. Tyranitar is OS, Gallade is AG/DP (XY with Mega) and the 2 Galar reps fit too. Inteleon and Falinks can both attack but also defend like a sword and shield. Volcarona is BW rep but the Sun/Bug theme could parallel SM/Alola/Guzma.

I think the fact that you draw the Pokémon and little characters yourself add some charm to it, and helps differentiate you from others doing the same thing you are. As for the team itself, I think it works really well. Ash having a Falinks is perfect, but it somehow never came to mind. I also love your idea for Gallade, with it struggling to control its psychic abilities. Maybe it could even try to get help from Ash's Espeon, but in the end they can't help because the two use their abilities in entirely different ways thanks to their fighting styles.

These is a pretty interesting alternative team for Ash in Galar ( aka Journeys). They have interesting dynamics, cool backstories and they would definitely make for interesting adventures. Plus I’m just happy Ash gets his Tyranitar.

I much prefer this team to the team Ash actually got. It actually feels like a multiregional team with Kanto, Johto, Unova, Galar, and Sinnoh representation, vs. his canon team of 3 Kanto mons, 2 Galars, and the lone Sinnoh Lucario. I also like the personalities and stories for these Pokémon. Like I mentioned last time, I like the inclusion of a female Pokémon in Volcarona which actually mirrors his female Dragonite on his canon Journeys team.

Once again, Doli does it! Great take on this and I agree as I always felt that Inteleon and when young Sobble would fit Ash. As Ash tends to do well with turning some cry babies into powerhouses and even in my video I didn't do Tyranitar but its an obviously good pick! Solid team!

I think in sinnoh, there was that one episode of a spiritomb, where in the past it was sealed off by a trainer and his pikachu, if ash caught that not only it would be a powerhouse, it would have a great dynamic with ash's pikachu and i can see paul acknowledging spiritomb as well. As for repeats, in the anime only cynthia owns one as far my memory serves.

I agree with most of the team options, except for Volcarona and Falinks. They really just don't seem like something Ash would realistically catch. If i could, allow me to give my thoughts on their replacements: 1. For Volcarona, i'd give him Tyrantrum. Since Volcarona is meant to be Dracovish's replacement, i figured that another fossil mon would make sense. Tyrantrum is also part-dragon type, so it fits in better as a Dracovish replacement. I can see Ash acquiring one through 2 means: either by reviving one from a fossil in ambrette town or by catching the same tyrantrum that Bonnie formed a bond with in that one XYZ episode. Either way, i can see him also being the protective and playful member of the group, constantly biting down on Ash's head but can get extremely serious when in the heat of battle. I think both him and T-tar would go well together considering both have Tyrannosaurus in their name. For the moveset: Crunch - Dragon Tail - Head Smash - Giga Impact. 2. For Falinks, i would suggest Grapploct. Much like Falinks and Sirfetch'd, Grapploct is also a pure fighting-type with an interesting set of abilities and a wholy unique battling style revolving around grapples, constricting and incapacitating opponents. I would imagine that Ash would be inspired to catch one after witnessing the strenght of Bea's Grapploct after their 1st battle. This would lead to Ash catching a Clobbopus and training it with Ash's Kirlia/Gallade to better it's endurance and speed. It would also have an arc of it and Ash learning to work as a unit and timing their strategies correctly to properly execute them. And just like Lucario and Sirfetch'd, Grapploct and Gallade would also have strong respect for each other. For the moveset: Octolock - Sucker Punch - Superpower - Liquidation.

If you want to make a slightly different set for Gallade, you could replace Leaf Blade with a move like Dazzling Gleam as a blindside move (of course Expanding Force still is a nice alternative too that as well).

Another banger video! It's almost impossible to improve upon Ash's Journeys team but you sure came close! I always wanted Ash to use a Gallade and I think the anime missed an opportunity to do something fun in Diamond and Pearl where Ash had a a strong Gallade for his gym quest and Dawn had a beautiful Gardevoir for her context quest

Since Earthquake was shadow banned from the anime starting in AG, i can imagine Tyranitar knowing Earth Power instead. Every animation for it has looked far more violent than Earthquake, so it could match a Tyranitar.

I'd give him Ceruledge instead. Armorouge feels too much like an Ash Pokémon. They'd get along too easily. A Ceruledge that fights like how Guzma and his Golisopod fight would be more interesting. (Specifically, how they dealt with Lana's Primarina.) It'd be very cunning and brutal in it's drive to win and prove itself the strongest. Ash would have to work with it to lighten up a bit and not leave it's defeated opponents in a critically injured state. Perhaps prior to evolving it let a losing streak it's been on get to it on top of once being bullied in the past by other Charcadets. Now that it's Ceruledge and is winning, it doesn't think how it wins a battle should matter so long as it comes out on top in the end.

Great job with your videos I have been enjoying them. Also given you enjoy what if videos might I give a suggestion. Like what if Ash was in the Pokemon Adventure manga? Like he still wake up late only to learn that oak being pikachu because Oak gave charmander and bulbasaur to red and blue, with squirtle being taken by green. With Ash traving partner being Green without knowing she was the one that took squirtle, but when he learns the truth Ash still want to be friend with her and help her conquer her fear of flying types.

I think Corviknight could have been a cool replacement for the G-Max slot. I heard all the time what a shame it was that Ash wasn't;t catching the early bird Pokemon here and I think it would really fit his team in general. Falinks would be super cool to see Ash use and I do really like it but I'm not sure if I feel it fits as well here especially with Gallade on the team which I ABSOLUTELY agree with. Maybe a Clobbapus or crazy left field option here, Kubfu from the Aisle of Armor instead of Falinks.

Honestly, I never exactly liked the "Journeys" team. Gengar, Dragonite, and Lucario are all overrated Pokémon, and Drakovish seems totally random. The only member who's my favorite is Sirfetch'd, so here's my team idea if Ash were to journey across Galar. 1. Pikachu. (Male) (Gigantamax) 2. Scorbunny-Raboot-Cinderace. (Female) (Gigantamax) 3.
