Once again I’m glad to see this type of different approach with Ash’s team, not limiting him to just Gen 4 Pokemon. Swampert was a real surprise and so was the choice to not evolve Turtwig. I vote that Piplup evolve, only since he seems more open to it in this timeline, and I personally really enjoy what ifs where they make a lot of big changes from canon, but that’s just me.

I like this new format with showing what Pokémon are at Oak's Lab, and what are with Ash on his journey. Whoa Swampert that's so serious water power that Ash caught, but of course it doesn't listen him that's a trademark for Ash. 😆 I got to say Combee did good in his gym fights an idea you could do is he helps Ivysaur in keeping the peace at Professor Oak's Lab. Hm? 🤔 Ice Stone huh I wonder what Pokémon Ash & Dawn will use their Ice Stone on? Finally I say evolve Piplup, but later when Piplup feel like he's ready. Anyways another really good part, and looking forward to the next part soon.

This was definitely an interesting entry it was great to see Totodile put confidence in minum and help it learn thunderbolt and discharge But one thing that surprised me Was the choice to not evolve Turtwig one thing I feel like the anime should of done for Ash's Torterra was teach him rock polish that way he could regain some of the speed he lost as he evolved maybe then he might of won some battles after evolving from Grotle into Torterra

It's definitely been a while that I began to think you might have given up on this series glad to see I was wrong. I like how the team is so far although I wasn't so sure about Ash having 2 fire types but you seem to make it work. Ash having another disobedient pokemon always makes things interesting. As for Pimplup evolving I think it should stay the same and evolve in the seasons where Dawn returns.

I'm very happy to be able to see the continuation of What if Ash woke up on time but it was not what I expected I was less exciting and too fast than the others because this season in the region of Sinnoh It's one of the more emotional adventures and I thought it was going to be more amazing than the original I wish I could see the Ash catching his Staraptor and Buizel because they were outstanding Pokémon of this adventure, it would have been cool, I think I had seen the rivalries of these new Pokémon from the Ash for example Staraptor Buizel Minum against Skarmory Swampert Pichu it would be amazing and it would be cool if you had caught new Pokémon in this adventure for example Geodude Shiinx Shieldon Buneary Spiritomb Snover this six will be really good for ash team

As much as I don’t like Paul, he was right saying relying on luck makes for a bad strategy. Hopefully, Ash will teach Minun some non-Electric attacks soon. Gible joining earlier and Chimchar evolving early are greatly appreciated. Swampert’s capture was mind blowing to me though I guess it wasn’t too surprising it would be disobedient (wouldn’t want things to be too easy). I appreciated seeing Ash bring back some of his veterans to help out the team or with other events. It’s something the anime never capitalized on enough. But that talk between Piplup and Charizard about evolution was excellent. Since Ash’s starter wasn’t Pikachu, Charizard would definitely have a different perspective on evolving. However, she gave both sides of the debate fair representation and made sure Piplup would be the one to make the final call. I’d love to see how Piplup would handle evolution. It would give him more moves to work with and handle different challenges. Glad to have you back, Dex. This what if series is pretty cool.

No, Piplup should not evolve, the reason he didn't evolve originally was because he believed it might ruin his performance and appearance for contests, I see no reason for that to change here, regardless of the circumstances Edit: I also don't think Turtwing should evolve either, since he sees the importance of his battling style (And let's be honest, he was better as a Turtwig anyways)

Swampert's evolution line never got to shine in Hoenn because Brock never got it here. Plus the Piplup will always belong to Dawn, Kenny and Barry I couldn't in good conscious give it to Ash

As much as I love Piplup, I'm choosing to vote for him to Evolve and I'll be explaining why so those who are voting to keep him the way he is listen up as well. So one of the Main Reasons why I want the Little Penguin Pokemon to Evolve is because we've already seen multiple Pokemon What Ifs of the Same Copy Paste Scenario before of Piplup choosing to not to Evolve, getting a Everstone and Dawn going on lose again to Zoey in the Sinnoh Grand Festival Finals and goes on to see Ash lose in the Top 4 or lose to Paul before going on Johto. Do you see what I mean here? At this point it's gotten very repetitive because the Same Scenario for Sinnoh in a lot of What Ifs gets blurred together and even though there was one where Ash was able to win the Sinnoh League, it's still shows the Same Scenario for Dawn like in Canon as usual in that one too however this What If here by DexComics is aiming to be different from the rest of them especially the previous Ash Woke Up On Time What Ifs before it and I love it how it's giving everyone the chance to change things here in Sinnoh rather than just going to do the same thing. The 3 other Main Reasons are that I really want to see Dawn actually beat Zoey this around in the Sinnoh Grand Festival Finals this time around (rather than it being a early Alain Situation again before Alain) but barely so she knows she still needs work and I really want to see Ash Challenge the Sinnoh Battle Frontier and Win the Sinnoh League other than the What Ifs on Ash Waking Up On Time and finally I want to add something else too: I want the Sinnoh Group to be able to compete in the Qualifiers for the Pokeathlon in Johto and actually go to Johto to compete in it instead of a Plot Hole, maybe Stop the remnants of Team Galactic from attempting to use Arceus to maybe bring back Cyrus and create their own World with him as well as create their own Creation Trio at Sinjoh Ruins (mix In The Stuff from The Arceus Chronicles)and then they go their separate ways in Johto( with Dawn staying in Johto) using the Magnet Train and Ash and Brock can go theirs as Canon. I'm also hoping that you'll be including Stuff from Pokemon Legends Arceus like I have a feeling that you're going to do like Ash's Scyther becoming a Cleavor, Moves from The Game and maybe a certain Quilava becoming a Hisuian Typloshion.😉😉😉 Additionally if you ever get to Unova, do you think you can incorporate Contests being in Unova from The Pokemon Journeys Series, have Ash win some Competitions/Tournaments in Unova unlike in Canon where he only won outside of the Region and maybe have Ash's Battle in the Unova League Finals end in a Draw? Considering that we've seen previous What Ifs having Ash losing in The Vertress Conference beforehand, a Draw is definitely a very interesting outcome and helps you stand out from the rest.

Whats up with writers giving Ash especially an experienced Ash, disobediant Pokémon? Like this is Ash's 4th region and gave him a disobediant Swampert which is so dumb, and giving these inexperienced trainers giving Ash lessons is so dumb.
