only 20 min in but im in love with this story -babidi and dabura using bardock to revive majin buu -the saiyan bond being stronger than babidi's influence -vegeta doesnt get possessed -goten mistaking bardock for his own father -bardock slowly remembering -goku and vegeta fighting buu together -buu calms down because food makes me wish it was an OVA

Honestly, I always thought that Chichi & Bulma was like "ok, we summon Shenron and wish him to remove Goten, Trunks and Gohan (he never got a tail after Saiyan arc after all) tails forever. So we never have a problem when we have a full moon" so... not even sure they'll have a tail one day.

I think the explanation is that once Saiyans have a combination of a Peaceful environment and a power level they mutate into not having tails anymore as well as being born with more S-cells hence why the Universe 6 saiyans dont have tails and can also go super saiyan easily. This is kinda retconned with super Broly since he was potentially born with a lot of S-cells and still had a tail but that was the old explanation so I guess Broly is an exception due to his unique circumstances and wasn't born in a Peaceful environment.

I loved most of all the story, i just think the last bout 30 minutes was out of whack, and i feel like the raditz idea could’ve been executed better but everything before that i loved. Especially the super saiyin four and making him one of babies minions, and not just giving him ultra instinct when you showed mirai so points for the originality. Absolutely a solid 9/10, would watch again

Ima headcanon and believe Bardock could've had his age slowdown/halt cause he was in a form of stasis when he was discovered amongst the destruction of Planet Vegeta; kinda like cryptobiosis in bacteria where their metabolic activity significantly decreases due to enviromental conditions like extreme oxygen deprivation or extreme cold, which he would've experienced in space. Could also help provide a factor into his dementia besides the blast. This would mean that Bardock would physically be of age similar to that or slightly older than his sons. Crazy

I loved this What If so much! It was so fantastic, emotional, and creative! Plus I always love when Goten has a much more impactful part in the story than canon. Seeing his bond with Bardock was great plus I loved the little references you added like Xenoverse 2’s recent DLC with Zamasu (Goku) using the Spirit Bomb to defeat Goku Black although in this Goten has to use it. I also loved Bardock meeting Goku Jr. I always wish Goku Jr was used more in What Ifs, but I always understand why he isn’t (he’s at the end of the timeline for GT where everyone we know but like Pan is dead). It was nice to see Raditz coming back as the replacement for the Gammas which allows him to reunite with his family. Although it was funny to see how much everyone vilified him when in actuality, what he did to them was nowhere near as bad as a lot of what Vegeta did or was complicit in doing to them 😂 I can understand Gohan hating him since I’m sure that traumatized him as a young child but everyone else? Especially Goku? I feel like they would be ‘Hm…if he’s truly good now or doesn’t remember his past, I say we give him a chance.’ 😆 still I loved it. Plus using Time Patrol to allow Bardock to reunite with the last family member he didn’t get the chance to reunite with throughout the story. It was so nice 😄 I can’t wait for the next What If! I’m curious on what it will be. (Also side note, I love how ironic Zamasu is about being a god when Daima reveals their race originates from the Demon Realm 😂😂😂)
