@@elfian46 well, I felt happy that my friend’s feelings changed after such a long time because they matched my changed feelings. I think that often boys minds are different. I was blessed or lucky. I have seen videos like these and always feel a little bit of sorrow for the people involved because I remember my own anxiety. I thought if either of us makes a move and it doesn’t work out we will lose a good friendship, but we did make a move and it did work out so I’m simply thankful!

First, I really enjoyed this video. Heejae never disappoints. Her reactions made me laugh and warmed my heart at the same time. A quick true story: I met a girl that I thought would be a friend only. Told her very clearly that is all I wanted and, if she was OK with that, I’d like to be her friend. We had fun together. Strictly platonic. It stayed that way for about 4 months. But I felt myself falling for her and did everything I could to keep from blowing our friendship. One holiday weekend we both were at the same party. We didn’t come together. Just met there. It got kind of warm inside so we went outside to cool off and visit. At some point I remember we were talking and I couldn’t stop being amazed at how beautiful her eyes were. And then she shared something with me that had made her very sad. So I hugged her. And made the mistake of looking at her eyes again. Somehow our noses almost touched. And she said to me, “You’re going to end up kissing me, you know.” And she was right. Best kiss I ever had. We’ve been married over 30 years now. Her kisses are still amazing.

I gotta say that in a lot of western cultures best friends do seem quite affectionate. Looking at my own friendships throughout the years no matter guy or girl, we’ll cuddle and show affection to each other almost like we’re in a romantic relationship but it’s a very platonic relationship. I guess some cultures really just show their love to their friends more openly than others! And it also depends from person to person as not everyone is comfortable with open affection.

Relationships are quite interesting and mysterious. . .😂 one day you're best friends then all of sudden you're catching feelings for each other. Happened to me countless times and to tell you the truth they were by far the best relationships I had. . .even though we are no longer together, I can still count on them as friends. An end to a relationship doesn't necessarily mean an end to a friendship. . .like any friendship/relationship we drift apart from each other but that doesn't mean we won't stop loving each other. Love comes in many shapes and forms, it's just how society sees it that is different.
