I think if Chaeyeon was still in JYP and debuted in Itzy she would’ve been main dancer and maybe a lead vocal. Definitely not main because I think she said before that she didn’t have confidence in her singing and was just known as a dancer. I think she would’ve pushed her sister down in ranking from main dancer to lead and overshadowed her. She definitely would’ve been the leader but I don’t think she would’ve been the face of the group, as she wouldn’t have the popularity she gained from Produce 48 (she definitely wouldn’t have joined if she was in JYP and preparing to debut). Plus, I think JYP would still have pushed Yeji and Ryujin more than her to be the FOTG.

Iz*one give Chaeyon confidence because members praised her a lot. Also Chae could try a lot of concepts and shows her talent. Sexy, cute, girl crush, hip hop, ballads no matter what she put power and elegance always. Nobody what haters says She's the swan of Iz*one and the dancer queen 4th generation. Edit:I did not think that she would fit well in Itzy because her dance despite being very cool is very stylized and her singing is more for songs that are equally more stylized. I am just sad because I know #IZONEPERMANENT will never happen. I hope for it, but I dont think it will happen. most members of produce series group are not popular and appreciated just like how they were treated when they were in the produce groups. I hope all izone members will find their own success after the disband and will remain well known and appreciated. the jline futures are almost guaranteed to be successful but im afraid of the Korean members. I'm still salty about the final lineup of PD48. Chaeyeon should've been in the top 5 but because of Korean beauty standards, she didn't land to the position she deserved. I'm so happy now that atleast she debuted and is continuously catching people's hearts with her talent and sincerity. She's now one of Kpop best dancers and known for her all-rounder abilities. One of the reasons i hate JYPE they are wasting too many amazing and talented ppl for stupid reason like come on they kicked her out cuz no siblings are aloud in the same group? Why is that even a rule? Im happy for Chaeyeon for not going in JYP tho she fits iz*one concept better that itzy (while chaeryeong actually fits itzy)
