I would've enjoyed it even more if the camera was also changed to see this level from another perspective, but even like this it's fantastic, I love going backwards in games! Being brought back to a "hub" that lets you choose from which section to continue if you die is pretty nice, while the inactive Fire Bro is hilarious!

As someone who beat this level in 6 hours with 1067 lives used, I am impressed by how well recreated this level is. However, this level is missing a part of the beams at the end (or in the beginning, it being backwards), perhaps the water part could have been attempted, even if you can simply jump down and the beep blop part is inaccurate, as most a lot of them are double jumps and the last part of it is not every second block changing, but the entire row. Apart from that great vid

Yes but when I made it, it was meant to be a system of honor. Since you can’t have multiple checkpoints in one level, I copied the hub design from Mayro, who also said it was an honor system.
