In my opinion Gilles would have definetely win a championship! He just had the talent, speed.

13:26 it probably would've taken too much time for race organizers, Gilles' crash was also a freak accident considering his altercation with Jochen Mass happened at a blind corner and one of the narrowest parts of the track

9:06 you would be right, a lot of his accidents and issues were a result of his own aggressive no limits approach and would unfortunately be the result of his own death, the only driver that reminds me of Gilles would be Senna as he had his raw pace mixed with enough self-control to not consistently get himself taken out
