I know it's only part 1, but Deku wouldn't give up on being a hero just because he lost his arm. He wouldn't give away OFA and he could get a prosthetic arm like Mr. Compress did. It wouldn't be that hard to get one, yeah he couldn't use OFA with it, but he'd still have a strong arm that could be modified to withstand a lot of damage or have weapons.
