@@LegendsForever206 I don't know about the others but Wanda not being in a relationship with Vision wouldn't have mattered in the first place. She was already grief stricken and as she said was drowning in it by Civil War. And apart from Cap, who's always out on missions, no one else would be there for her. And grief was one of the main catalysts for the awakening of her chaos magic. Vision just stalled the inevitable by telling her about the grief is beef speech. Add to that Wanda's prophecy as the Scarlet Witch. The events of Wandavision probably would have started sooner at the Avengers compound if Vision wasn't there for her.

Watching this episode after Wandavision really hits hard... Wanda kidnapping the entire town for Vision and this time Vision kidnapping people for Wanda.... Also, I know you said you are going to watch Shang Chi when it releases on Disney plus but the film is amazing and worth watching in the cinema! It has big Cgi fight sequences you don't wanna miss!

The fact that the metahumans can use their powers, the turn is stupid quick, the zombies can somewhat retain their memories, (Wanda feeling sad for Vision and the Avengers still having their combat training and skills.) Black Panther specifically being used as spare food for a zombie, a human head in a container that is still alive and cured. These are all references to the OG Marvel Zombies Comics.

I haven't read the Marvel Zombies comic, but from what I've heard, in the comics the zombies retain full cognitive abilities as long as they keep eating human flesh. As in full self-awareness, ability to speak, etc., to the point where Spider-Man is openly sobbing because he can't stop himself from eating Mary Jane. That might have been too dark even for What If...? though 😂

I laughed when I saw that Black Panther was being kept as zombie food yet again like he was in the comics xD Also these zombies were NERFED hard. Yeah they could use thier powers to an extent, but they weren’t capable of speech like they were in the books - it was always far creepier seeing the zombies lament over what they’d become and how they continue as they are after feeding, but when they’re hungry they’re just 100% focused on quenching that hunger, even though they know it’s only temporary. Plus here they behave like feral undead, but in the books they were capable of intelligent thought and planning. Undead Cap and Stark had plans to fly around using the QuinJet to make it appear like a rescue in order to draw out survivors.

One thing to remember about Marvel zombies, they are still the same people, with their minds, thoughts, and believes, but the hunger is so overpowering that they can't fight it. I believe the zombies are even capable of communication at least amongst each other. Meaning they can prepare for counter-attacks, make plans, and use tools. Not to mention they can survive in space so if Wanda for example were to levitate them all into space, they can just go from planet to planet until they eat all of existence.

These are without a doubt the scariest and most formidable zombies I have ever seen. And the most dangerous for 2 reasons. 1) These zombies have all the powers, tech, skills and knowledge of all the Avengers which would be dangerous enough. 2) These aren’t just your friends and family you’re fighting, they’re your heroes. I hope that the reason it ended on a cliffhanger is because they want to continue this story in season 2.

Also the battle in titan might end up pretty fast since thanos only fight drax,starlord,mantis and nebula there. My theory was they will going to try snatching up the gauntlet to thanos and used it to turn everyone back to normal.

They all got assassinated in Episode 3, Strange Supreme destroyed his universe so the Avengers there are gone and now in this episode nearly all of em got turned into zombies and killed? Yikes! But its so awesome that as zombies The Avengers still had control of their powers and abilities. Zombie Wanda was cool. No lie. But to see what Vision did for Wanda was heartbreaking and to see him pull the mind stone from his own head - God that was scarier than the zombies. And Chadwick saying "Death is not the end" had me in tearing up. (RIP King). That cliffhanger at the end though - zombie Thanos was even more intimidating than regular Thanos. I wonder what that battle would look like. Overall, great episode!
