Koga as a Bug gym leader! here's why: according to Bulbapedia, the Nincada line is based on the "cicada technique", where ninjas would use akeshi's (basically a wooden figure that looks like a person) to confuse enemies. you may know it as "Shadow clone". this fits perfectly with the invisible walls in Koga's gym.

The same name that is misspelled in Koga's Fame Checker. Now you ma be wondering...... "How the heck she can be either of those? Should the char part being Fire-Type?". You might be correct. But here's a painful hint in the AU. 15 months ago, Faba and half of Aether Foundation troops are sent by Lusamine to investigate the old japanese temple in Johto burnt by Celesteela knowing that the next Ultra Beast is approaching soon. But it won't be long till one of the Aether Foundation troops found the surviving, but injured, body of the original Charine. So they've decided to adopt and recover her into an experimental shinobi gene-spliced with capabilities of Fire-Specialized & Ghost-Specialized. Additional, her Pokemon also gene-spliced with other Pokemons of Fire and Ghost types.
