For Halloween? Over the top but: - No HUD - Fog - Artifact of Swarms + a mod to increase enemy limit - Increase enemy movement speed Every stage, 5 random wisps spawn somewhere 5 - 30 seconds after stage start and only attack by touching you directly. Upon doing so, they apply: - permanent curse (persists until the run ends) equal to 20% of your max hp - delete all stacks of one randomly chosen item in your inventory. For a more ‘fun’ experience, make the wisps invisible and lock their approach behind audio. Over the top, but an idea’s an idea🤷

Spooky ROR2: Rex modded with Acrid's Blight abilities, no move speed items, all enemies gilded and mending, 5 Minute Limit per stage or instant death. Cosmetic wise, replace enemy models with horror themed ones. i.e. Slenderman, various SCP's, HUD off by default and Fog of War on. Lower brightness so it's extra dark and harder to see enemies, maybe look into a first person mod as well? Anyway, keep up the great work Dan! Congrats on soon to be 50K!

A spooky sugestion is get a mod maker to add an enemy that stalks you. It stays far away often but sometimes comes close if it hits you, you die but if you hit it, it dies. Aoe items are disabled and only one of these enemies can be in a stage at any time so you can have multiple in a si gle stage just not at the same time. Maybe this enemy is like a slightly invisible semi faster bettle or something silly

Use artifact of dissonance and speed up the game by 11 percent so that the game causes you to go faster and the randomness causes stress. Also, use sacrifice and spend 7 minutes a stage, so 5 to run around anywhere, then 2 minutes a tp. The time limit will cause distress and iverall, everything is spoopy together
