I like all of these designs! Typhlosion is the best as I consider it to be my favorite Johto starter too! Meganium definitely has some room to fill in with a mega form, and Ferligatr looks better if it walks on fours.

Volcanic lightning is actually a thing, which makes the combo for Typhlosion even better

Electric makes sense on Typhlosion because volcanoes often have volcanic lightning around them.

Ohohohoho YES! The Mega Johto starters look so friggin EPIC! I LOVE Mega Meganium! The Chikorita line was always a fanfavorite and I just never undertood the lack of love for Meganium. Mega Evolution needs to comeback. And the Johto Starters deserve to receive them next.

Mega Feraligatr and Meganium are so fire! If they were real, definitely top 5 for me. Mega Typhlosion, while I love it, suffers from the base Typhlosion syndrome, in that it keeps losing more and more of it's flames. If it had more flames just at the point where the thundercloud meets his fur, and maybe his tail, peak. It'd be my favorite no question.

I have said, for years, that we do need Fire/Electric or Electric/Fire that hits hard, hits fast and is a bit robust. Typhlosion or rather the Cyndaquil line do deserve to have some electric elements in there, to give them a truly resounding boost

Maybe use the idea of a water type (like mentioned in the video) replacing one type and make the fire look more like a regular cloud. Even Flying type could work But I'm no designer so they might not be good ideas

Typhlosion's name comes from Typhon (+ Explosion), who is trapped in Mt. Etna, a volcano, and releases storm winds in rage, hence is the namesake for the word typhoon. Can you image a Greek Typhlosion? Kinda wish we could see that.

I think that for Mega Typhlosion has the perfect tyiping, also if you throw in context that "primal inner energy" caused by the mega evolution, you could see it as the lightning that lightened the first fire discovered by humans

Would definitely love to see more megas. The designs of the johto Starters are very good. Definitely thought feraligatr was going to be a water/fighting or water/dark type though, and that Meganium was gonna be grass/fairy

Meganium looks good from the neck down, but I'm not sure about the face. It works for it's new dragon type, but I feel that it loses some of that gentle charm that it's evolution line has Typhlosion needs the most work out of these three mega evolutions by far. This is a cool look, but it looks like an entire new Pokémon than Typhlosion's mega evolution (a regional variant at best). This focuses too much on it's new electric type to the point that barley looks like a fire type. Add that to it's new hide, changing it's fire neck thing to a thundercloud, and changing the white of the eyes black, and this looks unrecognizable. Tough this might work if you added more flames around it's body and kept those eyes white Feraligatr looks the best out all three of these mega evolutions. I love how you turned those thick scales into armor plating, and that part about crawling on all fours from the pokedex entries is brilliant. The only think that I suggest changing is recoloring those black armor parts to a more grayish color closer to metal, it looks too much like a dark type (especially with that mask like plating)

These look badass, though I wish Meganium’s original personality shone through a bit more. Not every mega needs to be monstrous and ferocious to be cool. Meganium is a gentle giant, that doesn’t have to go away to make it look strong. It kinda feels more like an ancient paradox than a mega.

Great video! Can't say I love Mega Chikorita but Dragon typing is cool and makes sense. I've never loved then hated a design as fast as I have Mega Typhlosion. I thought it was going to be a dark type but making it fire electric is awesome. It's so hot it affects the weather by existing. Mega Feraligatr is everything I ever wanted and makes me want to start a new playthrough with Totodile just to get him.

I actually like Meganium. For me it is Totodile > Chikorita > Cyndaquil, but yeah I'm aware that I'm in the minority here. That being said, I don't think Meganium needs the Dragon Type, it just doesn't fit the design of it. I think the Fairy-Type will be much, MUCH better. Both Feraligatr and Typhlosion look just right though. And yeah I would like to see more, next are the Sinnoh starters!

Typhlosion should be fire dark or fire poison (poisonous sulfur gas and smoke from volcano). Then just get rid of lightning and maybe make the smoke greyish purple.

Dang... not gonna lie, the megas for typhlosion and feraligatr are possible the best concepts ive seen. Definitely different a different route was taken then whats already across the internet that ive seen. Maganium isnt my favorite, but kudos to being different than a grass fairy type that its normally made into. Personally, i dont like it being a second grass starter thats also dragon type but i like the overall concept either way. Cant wait to see more, especially for the gen 6 starters which shouldve gotten megas from the start!

Thyplosion's name doesn't come from the storm called thyphoon but for the mythical creature Typhon, it fought Zeus and after being defeated, Typhon was cast into Tartarus, or buried underneath Mount Etna. So Thyplosion represent Thyphon buried under the volcano at Mount Etna or the volcano itself.

Mega Typhlosion and Mega Feraligatr look very intimidating. I'm a water-starter fan so I'd love to mega evolve my Feraligatr. Also I was wondering which types the Galar starters may gain... Maybe Psychic for Inteleon (a sniper messes up with your mind by not knowing where the shots are coming from); for Cinderace I thought it could be Electric since it's a very fast soccer player; and for Rillaboom... I'm not so sure but maybe Fighting, to hit those drums really hard.

I like the designs, but i would give meganium the fairy typing and feraligatr the dragon typing. We already have a fire/dragon and grass/dragon mega starter, so we need a water/dragon. Plus feraligatr already learns dragon moves.
